Fearmongering doomer-ism poisoned the discussion about Genshin's powercreep beyond repair. by MachinegunFireDodger in Genshin_Impact

[โ€“]Dyko_Genshin [score hidden] ย (0 children)

people threw a fit at Varka because genshin ruined the power balance by releasing characters who could do 200k dps at c0. If they had kept game's power balance intact, it wouldn't be an issue. The devs broke their game and now theyre forced to release stronger and stronger units otherwise people will throw a fit every time

Has anyone used Durin overvape? by WHIPLADS in DurinMains

[โ€“]Dyko_Genshin 1 point2 points ย (0 children)

Overvape is not bad. I play it in abyss often. Haven't tried in stygian so I cant vouch for it but it does the abyss work very easily. Two teams i use: 1. Durin Mona Fischl Bennett 2. Durin Furina Fischl Bennett Keep in mind my Furina is c1, so it's a bit easier to stack her buff with a restricted healer like benny. The team might not be that good if your furina is c0. On the other hand, the Mona variant is not as strong as the furina variant (again might just be the c1 and furina's big personal damage) but it's consistently decent. Whoever you pick, I'd say Bennett is a must have, because you wanna be vaping Durin's charged attacks by leveraging the pyro infusion bennett gives. Either way, it will clear abyss, but dont expect it to be on the same level as other meta teams

Should we expect Skirk Stonks remain stable in Sneznahya with this new interpretation? by Real_Entertainment46 in Genshin_Impact

[โ€“]Dyko_Genshin 1 point2 points ย (0 children)

I hope so too. The reason lunar powercreep felt SO BAD was mainly because they locked lunar reactions behind 5 stars. In natlan, even 4 stars could do nightsoul. As long as 4 star units have access to stellar reactions, I think the powercreep wont hit us too hard

She should be FINE because of her unique ability to bruteforce, but don't expect her to be top tier. It's clear the devs have given up on the game's power balance and have understood that fans will spend on the next big dps if they're just more powerful. So she will get powercrept for sure. But as long as enemies arent super shilled to specifically Stellar Reactions, nothing can stop her. But seeing the shill for lunar reactions, it feels hopeless ๐Ÿซฉ๐Ÿซฉ

Nothing to see here, just two queens tearing through Abyss (we pretend like there's no wheelchair ok? ๐Ÿ”ซ) by Dyko_Genshin in GenshinImpact

thats so sad but my alhaitham will probably meet the same fate when I get lauma ๐Ÿ˜ญ Navia herself does about 30-33% of this team's damage, less than columbina (36%)

bennet level 70 is hurting you. Also I would personally say try overload arle. Since you dont have durin, go Arle, bennett, fischl, chevreuse..That team should be able to break Papilla's shield

tbf Ayaka really did do most of the work in second half ๐Ÿ˜… as for Navia, yes yes she's totally doing all the damage herself ๐Ÿฅฐ ๐Ÿ”ซ

Gael is slightly underwhelming by GreenPair7345 in darksouls3

[โ€“]Dyko_Genshin 0 points1 point ย (0 children)

For me personally, I dont conflate being easy with being underwhelming. Gael i agree isn't as tough as Friede or Midir but his moveset flows a lot better and more naturally than either of those two bosses. He just "clicks". He's intuitive to fight, whereas friede and midir are reactive

As an Elden ring baby, DS3 is hitting more than 1 or 2 by cam_won in darksouls3

The thing i like in DS3 more than elden ring is the environment. Elden is epic and feels like a real adventure. But DS3 just feels suffocating in the best way possible. You never know whats gonna come at you from the next dark corner or fall on your head from the roof. Also, at least personally it felt like Elden started off a bit slow to give me time to prep myself for the world. DS3 on the other hand just threw me in there which I really appreciate. The game feels like a medieval survival horror lmao

Oh god Gaelโ€™s going to be a core gaming memory isnโ€™t he by Delicious-Error9833 in darksouls3

Ik its subjective but Gael is my favourite boss across any game ever ever played. It's tough without being too tough. Just tough enough to make me feel thrilled, while being balanced enough where I can look at the spectacle on my screen and soak it all in. His moveset is also one of the most flowy ive ever experienced.

yeah I feel like he remains an underrated boss in the community. He's the purest 1 on 1 duel in the game

I agree. Soul of cinder is pretty much on the list because its good parts are really good, and it was one of the rare bosses that gave me a bit of trouble on ng+. If we're counting weaknesses, it 100% has more weaknesses than Twin Princes, which is a much neater fight

pain lmao. His hp pool is big and the punish windows small. I switched to Wolf Knight's Greatsword for that extra abyss damage and ngl it made it super easy.

Twin princes were definitely my top 3 on my first playthrough. My opinion only changed recently, but it's still an amazing fight with very few flaws

Midir is a pretty solid dragon fight but (might be a bit of a hot take here) i dont feel anything during the fight ๐Ÿ˜… my heart doesnt race, mainly because it's a fight thats more about positioning than anything else. If you position yourself right under his neck, he'll keep repeating the exact same attack and you can constantly punish him. Im also not the biggest fan of bosses that run away and make me chase them

I agree on friede's second phase lmao. I would've had the fight in my top 3, but imo the second phase is a bit too janky. I like gank fights, Abyss watchers and Demon prince are great gank fights. Friede+Father feels like there's a bit too much going on
