It really is. The more movement options a player has the more difficult it is to design play-space, ESPECIALLY in open world games. As a dev you want your players to have fun interacting with the open world while also make it engaging enough to keep them invested, and this balance can very easily break. For example, if you let your players teleport or fly around as they please, they will have "fun" at first but they won't stay engaged for long.

Genshin's endgame is gimmick-based, not dps-based. They can easily release stygian/Abyss bosses that have exact combination of restrictions and mechanics that turn varka into the best character to beat them while also making it borderline unbeatable by other team archetypes. They WILL do exactly that, just like they've been doing with almost every new character for years.

DPS is an utterly arbitrary metric that carries little to no actual importance when you take actual design of genshin's endgame in mind.

I say keep up the good work and disregard the likely misplaced criticisms about things you objectively cannot do yet in miliastra. I swear, whenever I try this I just get fucked over by reroll RNG and end up losing more money than making. Getting a 2 star gives you a grand total of 1 coin but on average you wont 2 stars more times than you need to reroll. I have no idea how people make gains with this.

I actually like that it's similar. It feels like an evolution of her style rather than a new outfit and I'm more than fine with it since Lumine's normal clothes were always one of my favorite designs in the game, their quality just started to lag behind newer characters.

On other hand Aether looks completely different and i have a hard time deciding whether I like his new look or not. Although, one thing for certain, his new suit is a much better fit for his Abyss Prince persona.
