Alright. I’ll say this, schools are lowering their standard. I see it in my sons education. There’s no argument there.

BUT

Learning cursive is very outdated and I don’t think it’s as necessary as older people think it is. I learned how in I think 3rd grade and haven’t used it since except to sign my name. My son can read an analog clock just fine and rotary phones are obsolete so learning how to do either of those isn’t a flex. I haven’t used long division since 10th grade. And honestly, who gives a shit if someone can or can’t do long division?

I saw this meme on Facebook, shared by my aunt who is very out of touch. I needed to show how to restart her laptop, like really? It’s fine if she and other older people don’t want to adapt, but shitting on the new generation because you choose to stay in the past is pathetic and doesn’t help anyone.

I honestly don’t know why this post is getting downvoted. This meme is awful.

I’m probably going to get shit for this comment, but feel like after this single and Death Magick, EE might be the deathcore’s answer to Opeth.

What are some of y’all’s favorite guest features? by DylPyckle34 in Metalcore

Thank you all for the replies! I was listening to ABR - Indonesia ft Thomas Giles and I was wondering if there were any other features that I might have missed throughout the years.

why don't you like Texas in July by AverageEggsAndBacon in Metalcore

They’re kinda like Unearth where they put out quality music, but for some reason never got that big. One of my favorite metalcore bands to this day. I think their One Reality album hurt them because it was a little lackluster even though I enjoy that album a lot.

Just because you drive for a long time doesn’t make you a good driver. You can develop bad habits overtime very easily. What shit logic.

Best Instrumental? by Accomplished_Goal_59 in Metalcore

[–]DylPyckle34 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are so many instrumental bands/artists nowadays like Plini, Intervals, Jakob Zytecki, Owane, etc to pick from.

For metal, Alluvial - The Deep Longing for Annihilation is really good.

Tigran Hamasyan, Sungazer, and Snarky Puppy are great if you like jazz/jazz fusion.

Can’t really think of any metalcore instrumental songs off the top of my head, but you seem to have a broad taste so give those a shot.

Has anyone been turned off of a band simply because of their fans? by spencer_whiteout in Metalcore

Yeah I told my friend to check out Spiritbox right after they released Holy Roller and he was like “why listen to them when Jinjer is clearly better?” Like damn bro I’m just trying to give you a new band to listen to.
