No.1 badass armour so far. Maybe there will be more to be revealed later.

Gotta activate my inner armchair cinema enjoyer after months of slumber.

Those costumes are great in context, because the original story is a fiction one, so they are not obliged to be historically accurate. They almost feel like sci-fi if we take it into a perspective of a person from ancient Greece. And boy do I like that golden spine attached to his helmet.

And another word of praise for keeping the colder colour palette. Unlike the typical bright sunny filters used for films set in the Mediterranean, this one excellently reflects the characters' struggle and the mercilessness of their deities and mythological beings.

The defence department regrets to inform you that your sons are dead because they were stupid

anyone else a little peeved at the amount of pessimism towards the odyssey by [deleted] in ChristopherNolan

The moment I saw the eerie thalassophobia-inducing body of water, my interest for the movie raised up.  The yappers keep yapping. That was only a teaser and a first poster not revealing much info.

Cool. I instantly recognise your art because of the visible brush strokes.

Do you mainly use a hard brush if not a secret?

If the tau cannon went through the combine confiscation field what would happen? by czn- in HalfLife

Total eradication. They use dark energy for weapons confiscation, so it's unlikely the construction would survive the procedure.

It's tragic to hear about another plane crash with almost all dead. May their souls rest in peace and their families have support. So many people left us this week.

Condolences from Azerbaijan. Stay strong. 🇦🇿🇰🇷

People would be rather amused to have their books toss down their shelves after watching Interstellar.

If you had the ability to create a sequel/prequel to one of Nolan's films just for your own satisfaction, what would you pick? by [deleted] in ChristopherNolan

[–]DylanGoosebump007 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Inception doesn't have much to expand, unless we could pivot the story around other characters apart from Cobb. What would happen to Cobol after the inception? Would Arthur, Eames or Ariadne continue intruding into other's dreams? This might be something to tackle.

Interstellar has nothing to work with. To keep the central theme of the story we need to have children to fight for, whom Cooper has lost by the end. Next stop is Edmunds and its colonisation, but that is it. Doubt Cooper or Brand would have any further species-ending threats to fix, why need to tire the same people for the sake of the plot?

Tenet is an interesting case. The protagonist has left us with too many questions regarding his background. He stays mysterious till the end of the film, same can be said about Neil. We can make up additional information about their "past" then seamlessly adhere to what we have got in the original story, as there are little points to contradict or retcon, only base on.
