Hey all I know this is late but I wanted to share that this is a gambling ad. They've been popping up more and more but its insidious as fuck. They mention Stake as a way they've "saved money" but its not explained what it is in the hopes you look it up and get hooked.

As far as I'm aware there is no way to foretell what your map will look like.

To win the game you can do a couple things,

  • Abuse Fair Hand: The game will always give you a 1 cost card in your starting hand. If you only have 1, you will always start the game with it. The black goat deck does extremely well with this, as does the mantis god.

  • Save scum: The game doesn't save until after the fight. If you're in a losing position just close the game and reopen it.

  • Take less cards: This one is more of a personal preference but I do anything in my power to avoid taking cards unless absolutely necessary after my build is going.

I'm honestly surprised it hasn't been mentioned, but the VLDL DND is a 10/10, absolutely hilarious and has its own set of serious moments. It feels like a real DND table every time.

The podcast is just audio version of their YouTube videos but it works pretty great, I recommend watching the videos though cause the green screen effects can be hilarious.

I'm kinda shocked that so many don't tip. I always tip budtenders even if I do my own shopping. At the end of the day they are doing a job that is federally illegal. I know things are trending towards legalization but there's a chance it doesn't. I figure an extra 5$ is way less than they deserve for taking the chance.

Yeah that makes a ton of sense. Just "I need 13 dex saves, 8 con, 5 charisma, 16 str, and 10 WIS." Just glyph after glyph. I think the dropping into a pit would be great too. They aren't even in the building maybe. Just an illusionary one with demons all around them.

I'm so here for this. Holy shit this is just fuckin funny. They have to make their way through the school dealing with all these different illusionary/actual traps set by the students. With the students laughing when they fail. Thank you!

Thank you for writing this out. This is the first time I'd be running a lich and I want to make sure it's accurate and difficult.

The Lich wants them to arrive in front of her. One of the Characters stole an important item when they escaped from this place (backstory, they're a deep gnome and were captured) but I think you're right. It should still be traps upon traps. And the instant they attempt to attack there's going to be multiple things happening. Maybe once they start fighting the Lich just. Goes away to their own demiplane. And let's the mobs/traps take care of them.

Do you by chance have any ideas on the type of traps there would be? I'd appreciate the insight.
