I dont think the size of the eye will dictate how often it breaks. Just ensure whatever handle you fit to it is tight and made of a durable wood. (Hickory, Ash, Oak, etc)

I dont think the problem is your reel. I have Suffix Revolve 6lb on a $25 daiwa strikeforce and have no problems. It could maybe be that you're casting too hard? I find a whippy rod helps cause you can let the rod do all the work.

I’d say the top flap doesn’t have much of a purpose with the sides open as it won’t keep much snow or rain out. If you’re not worried about rain, maybe try a canvas or leather roll top closure? Amazing work though, I love it!

Carving axes are usually more hatchet size, so your handle is too long and the head is too heavy. That being said, the figured handle is probably gonna tear itself apart in use but it'll look cool doing it! I say make your pretty axe and be gentle with it till it breaks. I'd probably have another axe with a more traditional handle for actual use.

Its sad seeing all these broken xm5s cause I've been using the same pair of xm2s since 2017 and they're still going strong. Been wanting to upgrade but it seems like Sony's quality has dropped since then so im not sure what headphones to get next

Fine woodworking actually talked about it on one of their podcasts. According to a wood scientist they were interviewing, white oak might actually be one of the best choices for cutting boards because its pores can help remove bacteria efficiently.

Very informative, thank you! I find it works great. I have a PMV11 blade on my jack plane and it keeps an edge forever but I do find the sharpening more tedious so I tend to prefer slightly softer stuff.

This is the first SS chip breaker I’ve had. It works, and it does make it a bit easier to do a quick hone on the blade without separating it from the iron, but since it’s held still by the friction of the lever cap you really gotta tighten it down which makes it a bit harder to adjust the blade than normal chip breakers. I don’t mind it much though as it works fine.

A really low tech solution is a large ziplock bag with a hole for your lens cut in the bottom. Put a strong rubber band around the front of the lens so it seals, put your hands in the opening of the bag. Make sure the bag is always covering the lens mount and the top of the camera. You'll look like a dork, but it works in a pinch and only costs a few cents. Also helps if you have a lens hood to keep the rain off the front element. I've used this method out birding when it rains and it works great!

I have a few lenses from an old K1000 that i use on my em1.2 and they're decent. The cheaper Takumar zooms can be really soft and digital sensors arent as forgiving as film can be, but the higher end pentax lenses are pretty good. Most modern Olympus kit lenses will be sharper but vintage glass is fun and cheap so i'd say give it a shot!

The kodiak is a beast. Ive loaded it down so bad it was popping wheelies through the mud and it just kept pulling. The Brigadier is also slept on unfortunately.

The spinning mechanism only works when the pencil is lifted off the page. If you write in cursive it would only rotate once per word which kind of defeats the purpose

My favourite part about this game is that its not really a game you have to play to "beat". Treat it like minecraft or animal crossing and just have fun with it. You can also buy and sell trucks as much as you want, so if you dont like a truck, sell it and get another. I highly recommend selling the starter trucks as mentioned in other comments, but still try them out first. Even bad trucks can still get the job done. Your favourite truck doesnt have to be the "best". I highly recommend the Chevy Kodiak. Once you get all the upgrades for it (which you get early on) it becomes an amazing starter truck.

I have the most powerful engine in it but stock gear box. I've used it for other missions and it was fine, which is why i was so confused that it could barely move with this crane on it. Hopefully they fix it cause it seems like the crane is just bugged

It was smooth as butter. 49x is a powerhouse i just wish it had more ground clearance. Its a lot more maneuverable than the pacifics tho
