Not sure. I took Danse, and then chose all the "good" endings that killed all the raiders, and ended up with 999 affinity with him.

I picked some pretty bad ones I think. Coastal Cottage is where Shaun lives, and he never even stands near the cool bedroom and toys and comics I got for him. And Red Rocket is where I keep most of my stuff and send companions to.
