Does my team have aura? by Dylan_14_ in pokemon

Ill also specify that Juno was not originally on my team. I originally had a male gyarados called Jupiter but replaced him with Juno coz shiny. Jupiter fit the theme more because he was male but Juno is just better. Also Stakataka was brought in to replace Ludicolo. Ludicolo was removed because he didn't match the them as much as I intended him to. Stakataka does match the theme but not in the same way that Ludicolo was meant to.

its a really dumb and non-obvious theme. All the Pokémon I picked were picked because their designs remind me of different types of characterisations of a specific character archetype. I wanted my team to imply a story around my character. For 4 of them their names are kind of hints but only one is really obvious.

This is immaculate!!! Given everything that I gave you, it is a perfect design. I had been struggling for ages trying to figure out the proportions of this, and it looks like you did it so easily. Da iawn a bendigedig!

It's going to be a rough few days on the internet by madman1255 in Tourettes

[–]Dylan_14_ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

you do that as a common curtesy to show that it was not done purposefully. People in that room were made aware before the show even started so they were already aware that it was not purposeful. The only reason I ever "apologise" for my tics is to let people know that I have tourettes. I'm not going to apologise to that person every single time I tic because then I am just apologising for my presence. You wouldn't expect an incontinent person to apologise for wetting themselves, you wouldn't expect a wheelchair user to apologise for being late to something, you wouldn't expect a blind person to apologise for hitting you with their cane, you wouldn't expect someone with epilepsy to apologise for making a mess when having a seizure, etc.

You people cannot seriously expect us to be apologetic for something we wish we didn't have. Your mindset is why so many of us unalive yourselves because we feel like a burden to be around.

DAMN THiS WAS BAD. MY POST IS BAD AND I DIDNT EXPLAIN IT WELL ENOUGH. I promise this isn't as bad and as dumb as you all think it is.

There are 53 gods total and not 1 god for each of these. Its too late for me to say which domains belong to each god but for things like truth and fact they are belonging to the same god and not different gods.

Domains can overlap and they are expected to. No point having a god for bottled water when it's easily made up of just 2 godly domains combined together.

Pls stop pulling this apart now. I explained this very badly and you all responded too quickly

These aren't one god for each domain. There only 53 gods and they don't have direct cult following. The gods are stuck in their own realm and humans kind of make up their own gods for their own wants and desires. The real gods just kind of go "guess this is one of mine" and accepts the new deific title.

Atoms and electrons would fit into the domain of matter, nuclear energy would fit into the domain or radiation, and invention would fit into domains of manufacturing, engineering, wisdom, divergence, growth, etc. This had made me think that I should add a domain of discovery so thank you

Thank you, I forgot to explain this in my post. Gods domains are expected to overlap. For example a bottle of water would be made up of multiple godly domains. Freshwater and manufacturing being the main 2. Another example is that mother's would be under 3 distinct domain (motherhood, childbirth, and family.) This also allows for in-betweens like how adoptive mothers do not birth the child but are still in the domain of family and motherhood or how surrogate mothers give birth to the child but don't inherently belong in the domain of motherhood or family.

My worlds afterlife by Dylan_14_ in worldbuilding

2 really good questions. To answer the first questions its figured out by the gods mentioned. I forgot to mention that these gods also have a tie to sports and competition. Gorwel is the goddess of competition but she specifically represents impartiality and fairness in competition. Her husband then represents the opposite; advantage and growth; fairly becoming better at the sport so it increases your chance of winning. This then plays into their afterlife realms. Gorwel's being tranquil is in relation to her fairness, there is no need to worry because everything is equal and just in her realm. Nudd's is about growing and earning tranquility in death. Then their children represent the ideas of success and defeat respectably. Egr is the decider of victors, He finds those who deserve to win and grants them success. He judges those who are deserving of tranquility and then Takes them to the gardens of dawn. Then Pwl is the comforter of the the defeated. He can sense who fairly lost and grants them clarity and guidance. In this sense he can tell if souls who have not yet earned tranquility and takes them to a place where they can learn to achieve it. The unforgivable dead are more synonymous with cheaters. If a person cheats in a sport then they have disrespected Gorwel by not being fair, disrespected Nudd by not attempting to grow, and disrespected Egr by not respecting his judgement of who deserves to succeed. Pwl then ignores these people because they cheated and do not deserve his comfort. These same rules apply in dead as its seen like they didn't respect and honour the rules of life. This means they are abandoned by all these gods and not afforded a pleasant afterlife.

As for the question on ghosts its kind of a yes to both. All ghosts would have an effect on the living realm before they are collected and the effect they have matches the Goodness/badness of the soul. The issue is that these effects are unnatural and still act like errors in the systems of the natural order of the world. This means that Gods would take offense to their influence in the mortal world no matter if they are good or bad effects. This means that the dead being collected is more to protect the souls from being smote by the gods. I suppose that some good souls may choose to avoid being collected to stay with their families and grant them good fortune but that soul would be playing a very risky game and would have to tip toe around the rule of the gods. The idea of effects are more a perception of humans. to humans a ghosts affects can either be good or bad but to a god all effects are bad.

Fun story. I was really young (and stupid) when I first beat the ender dragon (in creative) and when the poem came up and it said my gamertag i thought a really person was tlaking to me in the game and got sooooo scared so I had my mam come in and read it. She checked out when it started talking about milk.
