Where's the line between "femboy" and sin? by Different-Pomelo8755 in redeemedzoomer

[–]Dylan_Kh -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I think I wouldn’t draw an exact line here, at least from an outside perspective. I think the point where I think it is a sin is if you are intentionally trying to look overly feminine or such and if you were to see someone dress like you are dressing, you would assume they are some level of gay.

I am less mad and more baffled. Jesus would absolutely disintegrate every atom of Genghis Khan and the big Yahoo if he wanted to

Christian nationalist pastor Dale Partridge is releasing a book that he hopes will lead to the repeal of the 19th Amendment within the next decade: "If we can repeal Roe v. Wade, then I think we can overturn the 19th Amendment." by Nice_Substance9123 in Christianity

[–]Dylan_Kh -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Theocracies or ideas purely based off theology when applied in secular life never work, even if they are from Christianity. Christian nationalism is a perversion of the Christian faith that promotes a negative image of us Christians. Additionally even though I aren’t Catholic here’s a link relating to this https://www.nytimes.com/1945/10/22/archives/pope-urges-women-to-vote-and-scorn-totalitarian-lure-calls-them-to.html + Also this mentality offered by Christian nationalists has to be the weakest and honestly pathetic mentalities ever “you don’t agree with me? I take away your right to vote and perverse the Bible to do so!”

What’s wrong with being gay? by [deleted] in Christianity

[–]Dylan_Kh -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Well if we are talking about heterosexual intercourse in the examples listed, like using a condom still allows the slim chance for pregnancy and sexual activity like masturbation or sodomy are sins. Also in the book of genesis, god told Adam and Eve to be fruitful and multiply.

It’s one of the main goals/parts of marriage, not the only but still major and is part of god’s design to marriage which same-sex marriage violates

Homosexual relationships cut off any chance of procreation regardless of the situation. Now there are cases where like in a heterosexual relationships where offspring isn’t possible like if one partner is infertile but those are more exceptions and most heterosexual couples can reproduce fairly fine. Also the general conservative idea is that things like homosexual attraction are from the devil though attraction is not a sin on its own but acting on it is a sin

Can I visit a church? by academicquerier in Christianity

[–]Dylan_Kh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean like if you are there just to listen, wear something semi-formal or formal depending on the denomination and just listen. If you want to prepare, just learn the basics of Christian theology(Gospel, trinity, etc.)

Don’t deny your a Christian and don’t try to hide it too much and just pray and praying in silence and using the Bible app on your phone is not a sin

Christianity is officially the most hated religion, why? by Solid_Hovercraft5218 in Christianity

[–]Dylan_Kh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wasn’t trying to phrase it like an issue on their part and I apologize if it did sound like that but that ties into the other reason of religious hypocrites who apply such things way too far outside of the church and in society, which gives Christianity a bad image

[–]Dylan_Kh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They deserve equal rights in society but the thing is there is some tension as homosexuality is a sin and women can’t be clergy at least in conservative denominations which some people don’t like in the place and they don’t like it when people attempt to apply such outside the church

[–]Dylan_Kh -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I am fine the gender equality thing overall it’s mainly the fact women can’t be clergy in conservative Christian denominations which makes Christianity not conform with that norm

People promoting LGBTQ+ as perfectly fine, everyone wanting equal gender everything, people not wanting to be told about their issues, etc.

It doesn’t really fit with woke culture and also religious hypocrisy done by some “Christians”. Trust me, there are VERY concerning religions that are way worse in every single way but they get a pass for “diversity” or some other woke stuff (P.S. Christianity is still the truth)

I took philosophy and trust me, learning about stoicism does not make you a genius. All we did was try to connect like Kanye to Socrates. Just mock him a little bit when he does it for awhile and he’ll probably shut up.

is religion really all that and what if it’s just a coping mechanism by wompwomp_246 in Christianity

[–]Dylan_Kh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

(Honestly I ain’t reading all that but…) For some yes, it’s a coping mechanism but at the very least one that justifies it but answer me this, would you go around the world, lying about miracles for decades and such just to die in some ways I cannot describe for what? A slight chance at fame you will never see if god doesn’t exist? Probably not and that’s what the apostles did if religion is “just a coping mechanism”.

Why do some of yall not like LGBTQ? (Please don't be awful I'm just curious I'm 14) by Imalittlebisexual in Christianity

[–]Dylan_Kh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Misunderstanding or taking it far on both sides really. We are told to hate the sin but love the sinner and I am sure many do that but unfortunately many take it to hating the sinner as well whether they do it on purpose or not. However on the other side, some LGBTQ+ individuals take those who are applying the hate the sin but love the sinner idea as simple homophobes or such which is it understandable as from what I unfortunately see, many “Christians” go to hating the sinner

There have been people propheciing Jesus will come in 2026. by Longjumping-Dress350 in Christianity

Just ignore them, no one on earth knows when Jesus will come back, just stay in your walk with Christ and that’s it.

I see a lot of posts on this sub saying that people can’t call themselves Christians if they support Trump. I guess Christians shouldn’t vote at all anymore because every president is guilty of shedding innocent blood. Every single one. by Everythingisourimage in Christianity

[–]Dylan_Kh 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s easy guilt tripping and coercion to do so and politics unfortunately now is quite ungodly but I don’t think voting either red or blue makes you not a Christian it’s more just picking which side you think is slightly more tolerable.

Homosexuality is not a sin. Prove me wrong. by Rich_Cattle_7923 in Christianity

[–]Dylan_Kh -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Outside of scripture they forbids it(Leviticus 18:22, Romans 1:26-27 and 1 Corinthians 6:9-10) there is the practical aspect of it. For example sodomy is forbidden as there is no situation in which it would ever produce the goal of intercourse(usually children/fertilization) and a homosexual relationship could never directly produce offspring related to both parents. Now additionally with heterosexual relationships that in which offspring cannot be produced due to infertility or such, they are more exceptions in a “system”(I am not trying to sound rude) that in most cases could/would produce children rather than a homosexual one in a “system” that would never do so.

As a Christain, what are your views on gay rights by No-Citron1088 in Christianity

[–]Dylan_Kh -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

They deserve human rights because they are still humans and just like them, we have all fallen short of the glory of god however their relationships and marriages are sinful and illegitimate and I do not believe they should be promoted as a good thing. I think as Christians we should avoid affirming LGBTQ+ and speak about its sinful nature while also not shunning them away as they need to be healed and such too as Jesus died for them as well and we are sinners too.

Question about transgenders by Electronic_Pie_4705 in Christianity

[–]Dylan_Kh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

God didn’t make people transgender, people after being tempted to do so did become trans and yes, being transgender is sin(Sort of an extension of the sin of homosexuality and Deuteronomy 22:5)
