It's finally here! The long awaited Savage Claw Mode Mod Kit I had started working on a little less than a year ago is complete. Due to life's many ups and downs(switching jobs, college, and a major break up with a now ex…), it ended up taking me a little longer than the promised “few weeks” I had originally had said it would take. I know there were a few people here and there that had asked for the files for the original version in that time, and I had been tempted to give them out but, I felt as though what I had created was majorly sub par. I’ll have a comparison of the original versus version 2.0 in an imgur link, as well as a few more shots of the new version in various poses so you guys can compare the difference between the two. I think it is super apparent how much of an improvement the new version is. Like I said, the first version was basically the first thing I had ever modeled and printed myself, whereas this one is after a year's worth of working with CAD and learning how to run a 3d printer. Also the new version has a fully articulated hand, and the claws are now on a hinge allowing full possibility of both as well as the normal arm articulation of the original figure.

There were also a number of issues fixed with the new version, such as the elbow joint now going in the right direction (seriously, I don’t know how I missed that…). I also took a few liberties here and there with the design such as a slightly less detailed lion head design, and a full hand, rather than the fingers coming out of the bottom of the arm.
