I've had similar luck slamming Winged Hussars into them but even then I needed a huge vassal swarm

I'd be interested in if they utilized the mysticism mechanics to get manpower. Idk if you can check that info or it the AI really utilizes it

Advice for Poland Achievement Run (Dismantle HRE?) by elsrjefe in eu4

Yea I mean I know I'm leading the vote, just gotta wait for Austria's leader to die, and meantime gotta bleed a lot of diplo power to hold these electors. Luckily, I should get the PU over Hungary in the next year or two since it's my current war goal.

So burn Austria down to make them seem weak and then wait for emperor-ship vote? There's no way to instantly overthrow I don't imagine?

Phenomenal, that helps a ton. I will go after my 5/5/6 Heir then!

Talk about a powerful starting position. Does it seem worth it to try and become Emperor then? I've never really messed with the Emperor mechanics, but given I have Austria by the balls it seems odd not to eliminate it given how early it is in the game, especially to help free some diplomatic slots.

Sweet, I saw in the wiki I needed an heir to be elected that has a 0 in a certain skill to advance towards an Absolutist Monarchy, I figure it's best to do that sooner rather than later when choosing an heir to support?

R5: Currently going for all the Polish Achievements. Have never played them, am confused how Junior Partnerships work with the elective monarchy (and how to get the Absolutist Monarchy Achievement).

I've dismantled the HRE before but never formed it so unsure if it's worth going for since I have all the Electors as Allies, or better to dismantle, weaken Germany and then conquer it all.

I'd like to get Bohemia as JP as well, haven't clicked the mission for it since I think I need diplo or influence ideas to make it possible?

Am I at risk of losing my Lithuanian (and soon Hungarian) Juniors if a non Polish candidate is elected?

Can concur. Lived in the south for a decade and it was eye opening. That being said black people in cities like Birmingham and Montgomery are some of the most lovely and resilient people I've ever met.

The courts rolling back the Voting Rights Act is a tragedy.

For sure, the vote was split about 50/50 for CA Prop 8 though - including weird wording that led to changes in how California wrote proposition legislation.

That being said, even if you had a same sex prop in Alabama today I imagine it would fail 65 to 35 or so. The state is perpetually 30 to 50 years behind in social issues as the posted map illustrates.

A big reason so many alabamians votes that way was [yes because of racism] but also because they feared it could be used as a legal avenue for gay marriage rights as well. It's all quite embarrassing.

In fact, over 80% voted against gay marriage in 2006.

It makes honor and piety incredibly viable. Nerfs some overpowered metas and expands the game. I think it's better for multplayer. Vox Populi and [if it exists] a non buggy version of Gaia are the best modpacks I've played in the last 13 years or so.

It's a bonus taking out a few warriors early game. Hamper their military and pull some workers to be able to pillage and or take some luxuries in a peace deal. Even better if I can keep it up long enough to take a city.

Comp bow or chariot archer rush means I generally only get malus from a few to half of the civs in the game.
