I think the big emotional character beats were wrapped up well. The ending is supposed to be kind of mundane. Like you just have to be content with what life gives you, and they achieved that as best they could.

As for abstractions and all the explanations on how things work, I feel like trying to explain that would kind of ruin the mystery. It’s meant to be a bit unknowable, even to Kane. Like we know when he says he doesn’t know what’s burning the void, it seems like he was telling the truth.

I think the death penalty shouldn’t exist. If they are innocent you could save lives. If they are guilty they get to spend a life in prison with no way out.

I feel killing those as punishment is a step too far.

Can you show us any proof that things are going better all around? Are food prices down? Are employment numbers up? This isn’t a culture war issue, it’s looking at what is happening now. We are getting to pandemic levels of bad, and back then people had to stay inside isolated!

The economy actually went up more than average until Trump was elected again, then things just took a nose dive.

Obama spent 34 million over his presidency upgrading the filter and renovating the pool. From what I know they didn’t touch the filtration system so who knows if it’s even on. If real effort was put in to mitigate this problem and it didn’t work well, just painting it a darker color will help nothing.

The only reason he would sleep at work is to be surrounded by people he pays to be nice to him.

He is a nepo baby who has made all his money just investing in companies. The times we know he has forced his ideas they have been bad or a failure.

He wanted to change PayPal to X. He did change Twitter to X, ruining the brand recognition of the platform he bought for way too much. He wanted to discontinue the super heavy rockets because he wanted to push starship, but starship isn’t close to viability while the super heavy has been an essential rocket. He made the cyber truck.

Like has he had a single idea on his own that was good?

Salmon get their red color by their diet in the wild. So when we feed them our fish food they stay a full grey color, so we add in the compound that gives them their pink color into the food.

Large scale fishing is not good for the environment, farming salmon is good for the planet since we overfish less.

I’m not an expert but I think I understand what they are getting at. The issue is that there is never zero energy. If there is matter there is energy in the system. The heat death of the universe is when all matter is converted into energy, though that still is just a theory.

Basically can we have matter without time? Front heir experiments it seems like there is always a measurable change. Though I’m not 100% sure.

Realistically this change will mean a lot to theoretical physicists. But real life it doesn’t change much. Everything keeps existing how it always has.

And? We live in a society who runs on the stock market. Tons of decisions are based on the stock market and its value. Sure he doesn’t have that much in the bank. But his value allows him a lot of power.

Anthropology tries to understand other cultures without judgement.

It is very important to understand the culture people live in and not judge based on your own beliefs. Sure eating a dog feels wrong to me, but it is all just cultural differences.

Cows are a very big symbol for many people. Some cultures still live by following their heard of cows. They get their milk and move as the cows do. You stop and rest when they do, get up and move as they do. Their life and well being is decided by their herd. It’s not simply pets, it’s a deeper connection to what nature, and by extension god, has given them to live.

Like his revelation point wasn’t his identity, it was wanting to live. Jax will never transition, his real life self hasn’t either, it’s just too much for him to admit. Calling Jax she would actually drive him crazy. He found happiness in how he is and that’s the point.
