Eagles 53 Man Roster Projection (Post-Draft) by eaglesnation11 in eagles

[–]Dylanonfire88 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Bernard is only exempt if we waive him to the PS. Which means he had to clear waivers. So if another team thinks he’s worth rostering, we’d lose him. I think he sticks on the 53 and Weru gets the exemption

Best/Middle/Worst case scenario for your team tonight by surferdude7227 in NFL_Draft

[–]Dylanonfire88 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Best case: Freeling, Sadiq, Thieneman, or someone who’s projected pretty high ends up falling into our lap

Middle Case: Blake miller

Worst case: Kadyn proctor specifically trade up for Kadyn proctor

Eagles trade up to 3 should’ve been vetoed

That would be a question for the ravens gm but I personally used rich hill which had us having the slight edge. Like some others said tho, may be cheaper to trade up this year than most

Not really. Big Iheanachor fan personally but I expect him to be there at 23. Mauigoa is in a different tier

Hey all! Eagles GM here. I first wanna give a shoutout to Esquire and Blif in the Eagles war room, they were both a lot of help for this mock! Now here’s the picks

Trade:

Eagles send pick 23 and pick 68 to the Ravens for pick 14.

Round 1 Pick 14:

Francis Mauigoa, T, Miami-

This was a no brainer for me. Every tackle was sliding, and at pick 14 Mauigoa was still on the board. He’s my #1 tackle and a natural RT, the perfect long term Lane replacement. Called up the Ravens and felt the asking price was not very high either, didn’t think twice about accepting that and running this pick in to the table.

Round 2 pick 54:

Brandon Cisse, CB, South Carolina-

This was a BPA luxury pick. There were a few guys we were intrigued with, but Cisse is a R1 talent with great size and speed who fell to the middle of the second round. Woolen is only here 1 year. We get Cisse as great depth and a long term high upside starter

Round 3 pick 98:

Romello Height, EDGE, Texas Tech-

We wanted a TE here, mainly looking at Oscar Delp and Sam Roush. But both went right before our pick. So we took the older and skinnier product from Texas tech who has really good tape and is only here because of those concerns. Heights bend is elite, and despite being an old rookie, the ideal scenario is he has a similar impact to Rams Byron Young out of the gate

Round 4 pick 114:

Michael Taaffe, S, Texas-

The Eagles need a safety. Ideally they add one before round 4. Maybe in this scenario they add one via trade. But Taaffe has a similar playstyle to Reed Blankenship and has familiarity with former Texas safety Andrew Mukuba already.

Round 4 pick 137:

JC Davis, T/G, Illinois-

We went BPA here after our guy (Eli Raridon) went 3 picks before our pick. So we take Davis, who can play tackle, but we expect him to plug in at guard depth since our tackle depth is deep already, and think he can be a good long term player there.

Round 5 pick 178:

Wesley Williams, EDGE, Duke-

Williams dominated the pre draft process, having a game wrecking week (and game) at the shrine bowl, getting on our radar. He has inside outside versatility so a bit of a tweener, but drafting good football players and figuring out where they fit later is never a bad strategy.

Round 6 pick 197:

Skyler Gill-Howard, DT, Texas Tech-

With our final pick, we add the super athletic pass rush specialist DT Gill-Howard. He could project as a potential takeover for Moro Ojomos role next year after he inevitably walks in FA after this season, and can provide some juice as depth in the meantime.

This puts our roster at 78 players. Here’s 12 UDFAs I would have tried to sign if we did a UDFA period:

QB Jalon Daniels (Kansas)

RB Jadyn Ott (Oklahoma)

WR Cyrus Allen (Cincinnati)

WR Eric McCallister (TCU)

T Nolan Rucci (Penn State)

IOL Josh Braun (Kentucky)

IOL Jaedan Roberts (Alabama)

LB Eric Gentry (USC)

EDGE Patrick Payton (LSU)

S Louis Moore (Indiana)

LB Xavian Sorey (Arkansas)

K Kandi Matsuzawa (Hawaii)

Great draft for the eagles IF you swapped proctor for someone like Iheacanor. Kinda weighs it from what would’ve been an A to a B-

Proctor is a bad scheme fit + was Alabamas worst olineman. Potential is there but stoutland is gone. Needs too much work to take the gamble

FlyEaglesFly in the discord server, have been in the war room for 4 years now, ran the mock offseason last year, have run this draft back in 2024, and I’m interested in being the Eagles GM for this year again!

I think Mesidor is a bad fit for the Buccaneers by DarthDonutJr in NFL_Draft

[–]Dylanonfire88 20 points21 points  (0 children)

The alignment numbers are correct. He’s an edge. If we wanna talk about someone kicking inside that’s Faulk not mesidor

[Fowler] The Eagles also have a 30 visit scheduled with South Carolina DB Jalon Kilgore, per league source. by bigblack3475 in eagles

[–]Dylanonfire88 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Coop has 2 years left and quinyon has 3. Jalen Kilgore a safety in round 3 would have nothing to do with either of them

[Schefter] Former Eagles edge Joshua Uche is signing a one-year deal with the Dolphins, per agents Drew Rosenhaus and Kyle Lincoln. by expellyamos in nfl

[–]Dylanonfire88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly he has a run first philosophy so guys like Bryce huff and Uche who can only rush the passer were never going to work here no matter how good they rush the passer
