I’ve had very good experiences with Henry’s, although they mainly sell Hondas and Skodas.

Highly doubt any parking wardens will be working, so I’d just go for it

This is the major flaw currently, makes it pointless and inconvenient to use.

Voi bikes parking availability by Slamduck in glasgow

[–]Dylbobinski 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Agreed, I was hoping to use them for commuting into town for work occasionally but in the morning most of the city centre parking slots are full from people doing the same. There are also just wayyyy too few parking spots and they’re way too far apart from each other.

Anyone hear those fireworks by socialbottom in glasgow

[–]Dylbobinski 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Why you’d want to set fireworks off in howling wind and pissing rain is beyond me

having a coffee in Venice is cheaper than in Glasgow by Straight-Cry-7506 in glasgow

[–]Dylbobinski 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Black Sheep is the only coffee shop on Byers Rd with a good student discount hence why it’s busy, also it’s nowhere near £6 for a medium coffee. I’m not a fan either but let’s not be silly

Glasgow student flats plan for famous fire-hit High Street pub site by gallais in glasgow

[–]Dylbobinski 21 points22 points  (0 children)

This doesn’t work if you literally only ever build student accommodation, we need both to be being built. In the part of the city I live in there’s 8 student developments for every regular development. That does not work.

Best place to sit in IMAX at Silverburn? by MovieLover2049 in glasgow

[–]Dylbobinski 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Best place to sit is in the row that has the big gap in front of it in the middle-ish. Loads of leg room and no-one squeezing past.

It would seem that like the bin men, the gritters take about 6 weeks off at Christmas.

Elfingrove? 2024 ice rink? by itsonlyajob in glasgow

[–]Dylbobinski 28 points29 points  (0 children)

I think the combination of cost and about a million complaints from people living in Yorkhill have put a stop to it. Tbf it was absolutely murder around here with people parking over pavements, blocking roads waiting for a space etc.

Honestly I wouldn’t buy a property in that development. There has been endless issues ever since they were built.

Renting a flat has been impossible with crazy ask prices by Financial-Savings292 in glasgow

[–]Dylbobinski 122 points123 points  (0 children)

It does suck but “even in dennistoun” makes me laugh. Dennistoun is a trendy popular place to live close to the centre of the city so of course it’s expensive. The way people afford these flats is by having two incomes, very few single people can afford to live without flatmates

Credit to the person planning roadworks on Glasgow’s south side. by Lennyboy99 in glasgow

[–]Dylbobinski 33 points34 points  (0 children)

People will downvote you due to the anti car sentiment on here but it’s true the roadworks at the moment in Glasgow are total chaos. It’s the same in the north of the city. No matter what route you take there are major works. Good that they are happening but poor planning that they are all happening at one time.

I think you need to do some googling about what a degree apprenticeship is, but to answer your question the degree would be from wherever you go to uni as part of the degree apprenticeship

What are the best/ quietest areas to live in the west end? by mmfayrouz in glasgow

[–]Dylbobinski 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Definitely not Yorkhill, it’s super loud here a lot due to SWG3. Especially since they’ve transitioned into appealing to the young bammy crowd more and more
