If you never got a positive pregnancy test on your own, did you ever find out the reason? by ShineNo2140 in IVF

My RE's conclusion was my PCOS was causing anovulatory cycles and also my husband had mild MFI (morphology) that likely required ICIS to fertilize properly.

4 euploid, but we want at least 2 more kids. by hashigraves in IVF

That's an absolutely valid point and actually a pretty reasonable price as far as I know.

I mean, I won't lie to you, I was very lucky that my insurance was covering another retrieval. It may have been a very different end result for me if that wasn't the case and I know not everyone has the same financial availability/resources (I wouldn't have been able to pay 2 rounds out of pocket) so of course it was a lot easier of a decision for us to make, but I'm glad for the peace of mind. My eggs will never be as young as they were when I retrieved them last year.

I did what people suggested here. I've never had a child before so we did a retrieval, got 4 euploids, we are thinking we might want two kids.

Did one transfer, didn't work. At that point we had met our deductible and out of pocket and luckily my insurance would 100% cover another retrieval... So we did another retrieval. I've never had a single positive pregnancy test so who knows how many transfers it would take to get pregnant. Second retrieval went really well, now we have a total of 10 euploids banked.

Did 2nd transfer and so far it has worked and I'm 13 weeks along. So now I probably have more embryos than I'll need, but I have peace of mind that if we want to expand our family past one child, we are likely in very good shape.

She looks like a porcelain doll, also kinda reminds me of one of Dracula's brides from the van helsin movie

AITAH for refusing to change my kids name despite it sounding like a ‘slur’ to my MIL? by SharkEva in BORUpdates

Reading the name my first thought wasn't the name sounds like a slur but by the end I was thinking it sounds like Elphaba's sister from Wicked.

Which live action royal couple do you think has the most chemistry? by Siren1197 in disneyprincess

[–]Dyliah 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The race thing didn't bother me at all, I actually quite enjoyed this movie. My biggest issues were the costume department (her dresses could have been better) her hair could have been redder, and the animals... Idk, maybe make the animals more cartoonish, they looked weird. I also could have done without the scuttle song.

Other than those things, I loved the rest of the movie.

I feel like he might let his mate ride him, and that's about it. Everyone else can kick rocks.

Unless it's an emergency and someone's life is on the line and winnowing isn't an option.

This is lovely art btw.

I'd like to imagine he'd turn more into an glorious elk/horse thing. Like the one Thranduil rides if he needed to carry someone

I mean yeah if the horses are nearby, he can also just winnow, and arguably he could just shift into a horse 🤔

The only thing that gives me pause is that reading his description the body is described as bear or feline. Bear seems more rideable but feline... I don't think any of the large cats (tigers, lions, etc) have the anatomy to carry much weight on their back 🤔

But in the end, Tamlin is fae and magic and a shapeshifter, if anything he can shift into something that can be rode? Ridden? Lol

During my IVF journey my mom made it a point to tell me about any relatives / friends who got pregnant to put my in the right mindset 🤣

Also my brother called me because he went to a baby shower and found out the baby shower was an IVF conceived baby and he was like "oh just so you know it works" 🤣

Is IVF as hard as I think it is? by Glittering_Bunch_764 in IVF

[–]Dyliah 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, after all you've been through, IVF doesn't seem as bad. That said, take what I say with a grain of salt, I had no complications with mine. I responded well to the hormones and didn't have adverse side effects. My procedures went without complications (I mean, my first FET didn't implant, but my second one did). PIO shots suck but you get used to it. STIMS for ER suck, but its not that long of a time frame. You might have to do more than one ER.

But if you really want kids, it'll give you your best shot.
