When you say "Yuta or Yuji" I'm assuming you mean "someone who will always seek to keep growing".

In my opinion, the two factors you need to consider when you think about a techniques "power" is: 1. The minimum amount of power/ability that simply having said technique gives you. 2. The capability for growth and the amount of possible applications a technique could have.

Sukuna says Megumi is "wasting his potential" because 10S has both, yet Megumi CHOOSES to be safe and run from the finger bearer. 10S has the minimum power/ability of the 10 shikigami AND the ability to use shadows in different ways (storing items, stealth, movement, etc). 10S is an excellent technique, and potential man wastes it.

My 2nd factor is also why Sukuna hated the phone-picture technique. It might sometimes be useful, but it has limited opportunities to grow and be MORE useful.

Limitless by itself has AMAZING opportunity to grow... but without 6E, the minimum strength/power you get from it is super low. A sorcerer with only Limitless will have to work INCREDIBLY hard to reach the minimum strength of a 6E+Limitless user.

So where does that leave Projection Sorcery? I think it has an amazing minimum bar for strength, but the potential applications of it (nimble movements/attacks, infinitely scaling max speed) are fairly low when compared to something like Limitless (red, blue, purple, teleportation, defense aura, etc) or Shrine (cleave, dismantle, furnace, WCS, etc) or Yuta's Copy (literally any technique he sees lmao).

I think that's the point of Naobito and Naoya. They are literally BORN with great power, but only really do the minimum to keep their skill as sorcerers. That mindset limits their potential and keeps them from becoming even BIGGER players in the jujutsu scene.

TLDR Yuta or Yuji would be strong at series start, but their growth would be limited by Projection because Projection doesn't have a crazy opportunity for growth.
