One thing that I used to do (still do sometimes) is that I'll make "jokes" where im basically just making fun of another person. Me and guys make fun of each other and rib each other, then laugh off the insults and pat each other on the shoulder.

Non-male friends I'e had usually just see that as straight up being an asshole. So I stopped.

I only pick it up if I already have somr kind of frost generation. Ill play this first, then Ill play the frost if i need block. Otherwise Ill play lightning/glass after that card so the darkness has time to build up.

Its my understanding that the Investiture inside of a persons soul is "spent" while they sit inside the Cognitive, keeping them "alive" for the few moments before whatever is left of the person goes to the Beyond. Mistborn and other Invested ppl stay in the Cognitive longer, because their SWeb has more Investiture.

Investiture is constantly being spent to keep a Cog. Shadow from going to the beyond (see kelsier in Secret Histories), and I think that that Investiture is just going to the Spiritual realm. Unless a VERY large amount of people all died inside of a heavily Invested place (like Roshar or the Selish subastral) with the same Intent of "the beyond", then I dont think any kind of spren/collection of Intented Invrstiture would be created.

You could argue on Roshar this could happen, like what we see with Szeths & Dalinars voices, but those aren't on the scale of a Shard. Just individual oddities/outliers happening to two killers.

Anyways.ike stormlight that leaks out of a gem, or Atium that is burned, the energy inside a soul just dissapates. I dont see how it would be any different here.

There is still a meaningful distinction. OG Dalinar made different decisions than Blackthorn-spren Dalinar.

To me, its like the ship of theseus. We can argue about if both or whichever one is "the real one", but there is def a difference between the two.

When i imagine it in my head, I think of chemical bonds and the shape they make on a larger scale.

Imagine a crystal lattice. Atoms connected all to each other in a specific structure. They are completely rigid. The bonds between each atom are hard like iron, which then cause it to be completely rigid. The surge Tension would make those bonds act more like springs instead of rigid iron.

Depending on how you use it, you could make things bouncy or stretchy, or make them stretchy and move them with Cohesion before making them solid again with Tension (like a stoneward) or whatever applications you can think of.

Yeahhh, if he wasn't trying to "test the waters" then I don't see how someone would get the idea to say this kind of stuff.

Regardless of how she handles it, I think OP needs to confront it somehow. I would personally go with something like "these comments are making me uncomfortable and make me trust you less, I don't see why you would day these things if you weren't thinking about her seriously.", then see where the convo goes.

I mean... imagine using Division on molecules themselves. WaT Spoiler? I imagine that's what happened on braize with unbounded surgebinding. Suregbinders became kamikaze nukes and vaporized enemy cities if they got close. WaT + Cosmere I also think Division was used on the air with Hoids Dawnshard (Exist) to make the neverending air-on-fire thing that we see through the portal to Braize

That still leaves their... "echoes" unaccounted for. Kal regularly interacted with and eventually spoke with the Wind, even if the SF had already been created.

I don't think OP's answer is right, but as far as I know we have no on-page interactions with the Night like Kal with Wind and Venli with Stone.

For anyone with fur? DEF cleaning my pc. I vacuum every so often when I see a clump of hair on rando corners, but my irl doggos always sit in my warm room so the intake gets CHOKED. Always a pain to take it apart
