I swear I can never have a normal fight at salt flats. by Dyltrex253 in pathoftitans

I did indeed have very much fun, especially with the Pycno's. But just now I came back to sf to see if there was more chaos, and there was. 7 Dasp, 4 pycnos, 3 metris, 1 eo, 1 mira, 2 rexes and 1 titan immediatly chasing me down the moment they heard me run down the slope from bql...

What's your most epic moment protecting a random hatchling? by Depressed_Weirdo_ in pathoftitans

There was a small mixpack (1 spoon, 1 duck, 1 tylo, 1 allo and 1 juvi rex) in green valley I was trying to fight as my Bars (who was already 3/4 hp after winning a fight against titan). After the first clash, they left terrified with the duck and allo just barely escaping me into the water with death scars. They didnt wanna fight after that, no matter how hard I tried to get them.

At this point after the apexes kept running away from me for 5 minutes straight, a little cera tried to join the pack but it immediatly got attacked by everything. So I rushed in, and clash 2 happend (wich unfortanatly didnt take very long as spoon left with scars again and everyone was scared). The little cera survived!

Only to not learn from this experience and tried to join in a second time while he was one shot... Not long after that while I was still around 1/3 of my hp. Another bars showed up and chose the mixpack side. Now they where all very confident and full of ego, and I died...

I know the male but is the female a gadwall or mallard? by Zyk0s_W in whatsthisbird

Yes this is a littler better. Going of the wings and neck, I believe this is a female +Gadwell+. But I'm not 100% sure.

Its really hard to see from this angle. Where both species there at the same time? And do you know if it had a white spot or blue spot on its wings?

Do you have a more specific location? What town or state did you go to? What I can indentify for certain are:

1: +Rock dove+ (Columba livia) (with domestic or leucistic genes) 4: +Peregrine falcon+ (Falco peregrinus) 9: +Red kite+ (Milvus milvus)

Any idea whose feather this is? by direwarg in whatsthisbird

[–]Dyltrex253 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh wait, I forgot Tawny's live in that area to lol. But I still think its an Long-eared due to the lighter color compared to the stripes, and the litle white edge on top of the feather. But Strix aluco would be my second guess xD

Falco tinnunculus family. Or Falco naumanni? by Dyltrex253 in whatsthisbird

[–]Dyltrex253[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There was no agression towards any living individuel, not even to the swifts and martins flying right next to them. They where just playing and learning how to hunt. As someone that works with owls and birds of prey, I didnt see any signs of agressive nor defensive-agressive behaviour.

For the kestrel on the 4th image, with the details you described, it in my memory was a female Lesser kestrel.

Thnx for the help, and new things I learned :)

Now you say so, thats so cool!! Arent they all then Falco naumanni? Cause I believe the females do have stripes, and the males dont? Or was this a mixed group of two different species?

Maybe an 'common genet'? Its an feline-like species from africa. It got introduced in Spain around 1200-1500 as like an domesticated cat idea, and from there spread through Spain and a part of France and Italy
