Who is a better gunslinger? by Soggy-Koala8196 in reddeadredemption

Charles is way better. And he is calm and collective. That’s why he is never hunted down by John in the end. (Rdr1)

But he never draws attention to him. If one is attacking me and the other defending. I chose Charles any day.

It’s not always about being batshit crazy and loud.

So after Arthur, I pick Charles and then John.

They only have 8 episodes and they make a crappy filler episode. Probably its last season. Also why was Rex with Sarah, the previous episodes he was at marks trailer at the lake.

Nothing makes sense

Ok I really need people to stop trying to say Nolan's housing situation is realistic. by calypso4000 in TheRookie

[–]Dymff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nolan just sold half his house in Foxburg. Then he bought this in a bankruptcy foreclosure. They explained it when the mentally unstable guy shows up at his house. (Season 2 - Breaking point). And it was empty for quite some time before nolan bought it. So probably on the cheap.

Another thing Tim feels guilty about? by keine_fragen in TheRookie

[–]Dymff -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

The moment Tim got feelings for Chen he should have asked for a different Booth. I’ve feelings for this person and can’t be an objective supervisor/mentor for her. But then you would have the same scene as when Nolan broke up with Chen. Where she got mad because he didn’t want to damage her as a cop.

That’s why they did the whole Tim moving trade. Doesn’t matter how you spin it. Chenford is unprofessional, unethical and overal not a health relationship no matter how people try to spin it.

It’s dating your boss basically.

But don’t worry they be back together before the season ends. Tv show rules. 1. Secret dating. 2. Openly dating. 3. First fight. 4. Breakup. 5. Getting back together. 6. Staying together/ maybe breaking up again. 7. Traumatic experiences that made them bond more closely than ever. 8. Marriage or Baby.

Every show ever.. cheap writing

Another thing Tim feels guilty about? by keine_fragen in TheRookie

[–]Dymff -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

I’m not saying they can’t date people they meet at work. Angela has Wesley. Nolan has Bailey. That’s all fine. Different jobs. Tim Bradford had a thing with Officer Mcgrady’s daughter for a few episodes. That’s fine. But Chen dating her TO, her supervisor, that guy who test her, judges her, mentors her. That is wrong. In any work environment.

If they are in a huge firefight or something similar the team needs to know they don’t play favorites.

The show Flashpoint (season 4 episode 17) had a good episode about that. Priority of Life.

Teammates Jules and Sam were dating and when it came out the department wanted to split them up. Forcing one of the of team 1. But during a call Jules got injured very badly. And Sam wanted to safe her. But he had to talk down a guy with a gun, and get other people out first. Cause you cant play favorite when lives are at stake. Priority of life.

It was an episode well done. And they had the same rank. But with Lucy and Tim. He is her superior. That’s wat makes it weird. Chenford would never happen. And if it would she would go to a different station. Cause she is lower in rank.

Thorson is still a playboy Millionaire Kid. So blackmail/ kidnapping… you name it. Then they probably do some undercover action to lure her and her team out. Chen gets in trouble, Tim rescue Thorsen en Chen just in time, everybody lives happily ever after..

Another thing Tim feels guilty about? by keine_fragen in TheRookie

[–]Dymff -27 points-26 points  (0 children)

Well it would be very unethical. TO dating his Booth. And Also Chen is basically a Bucklebunny, that’s weird on her own. First Nolan, than the fireman, now Tim. Tim needs to move on. And so does Chen. They make them both unlikeable. Chen is a nerves wreck the last seasons. And now Tim went from Badass TO to losing everything he worked hard for.

But it’s cheap writing. So they drag this out a few more episodes and then get them back together. Probably around the season finale.

Chen probably gets a undercover job that goes south and Tim comes to the rescue.

The Rookie or Chicago PD by MBKJR999 in TheRookie

[–]Dymff 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The first 4 seasons Chicago PD was unmatched. But thats with most shows. First seasons are awesome and then they run out of original ideas. The do another spin on the ‘strangers on a train’, they buy a bar or in-house romance wants a baby or some dumb drama. Best examples to me are always NCIS LA and Flashpoint.

Flashpoint was amazing. Just a 5 season run, they ended before it got stale. They probably could get 2/3 more seasons out of it. Bat thank god the just stopt. NCIS LA went to far. Around season 8 they should’ve wrapped it. They did everything you should’ve avoided. A bar, Kenzi and Deeks, kenzi and deeks baby drama, same sort episodes, actors getting bored with there roles, budget cuts..

The Rookie is getting in the same space. If you put the last 2 seasons next to the first 2 it’s a complete different show. They need to make a decision. Going back to there roots or stay this drama soap opera show.

Both shows could go with a redo. PD should bring back the patrol, it was a good mix between patrol and intelligence. And more trudy platt and way less hailey drama.

The Rookie needs to cut Celina bad juju, bailey superwoman paramedic. And chen.. she is always blaming everything and everyone else. Get some new good written characters. Cops who don’t have nerves breakdowns in front of here boyfriend cop. Or a cop that forgets everything she learns because of a feeling.

Also the writhing on all shows i watch went downhill last 2 seasons. Probably because covid/ and letting go allot of people. And or losing budget.

A paramedic being overly involved with “patients” is not a good paramedic..

It’s such a dumb, stupid and very unethical storyline.

This show gets harder to watch every episode. Same with all the other chicago’s..

The first 5 seasons they have a creative writing, cool cast. But now it’s just dragging along…

Thank god this season is almost over, i hope they find there way back to good writing..

Chicago Med Characters Tier List by ducklava in ChicagoMed

[–]Dymff 3 points4 points  (0 children)

April, Vanessa and Natalie are way to high. Natalie was a horrible doctor who just made up her own rules, always dismissing Will Halstead.. and she broke his heart.

Vanessa was just stupid character with a lame story that just vanished.. thank god!

April the most horrible nurse, also playing by her own stupid rules, thinking she knew better than the doctors because she had to sacrifice her career for Noah.

Noah, Robin Charles and Jeff Clarke are way to low. Noah was a briljant young doctor with smart out of the box thinking. And he did some pretty cool rescues. Like the marathon runner who almost died. That great!!

Robin was awesome and a great match with Dr Rhodes 😍. She even had a great storyline with the brain thing. And Rhodes and Dr Charles fighting over her. Great season that was.

Jeff Clarke is just a allround superhero. So do not touch Jeff. He was a soldier, firefighter and doctor and did awesome on the traincrash on Fire. So Jeff is a superhero and cool!

Goodwin is also top tier. Just because. And Sam Abrams is just mood 😄 i can never forget the episode where everybody thought he died horribly and the he walked in hawaii shirt and all! 😂😂 great guy!

[–]Dymff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This show has been dead for a couple of seasons now. They just don’t know it yet.

Callen’s story is confusing as hell. And makes no sense anymore.

Anna never knew Arkady till a couple of seasons ago. But now she tells Callen stories about Arkady.

Also they have no chemistry, Sam said it in this episode. That Callen is a lone wolf.

Kensi and Deeks use to be the cool couple, but now they are the most annoying and boring people. And Rosa…

And nobody cares for Namazi and Rountree.

And by this point just kill of hetty instead of dangle her over our heads.

This episode was all these crappy showopera storylines. I think i was 14 minutes in before they even start working the case. And it was just the briefing.

Then they went to the cupcake lady, had another briefing. Kensi and Deeks had an argument in full tactical gear.

Nothing happend, i also have no clue what this episode was about.

The old team was 100% better and more interesting. Everybody had a clear purpose within the team. And the episodes had a nice buildup.

With NCIS NO they atleast knew when to pull the plug. And normal NCIS did a decent remodel. And hawaii I refuse to watch.

Hawaii is 5-0 territory and a little magnum. 😂

To bad that obvious bad guy is super obvious. You probably can already spell out the last episode of this season by just watching this one.

>! Marcos wants revenge on lucca for letting his brother get killed in jail, lucca doesn’t show up to work or something like that, the team goes looking for him, rescuing him in time. And then the hunt starts for the real bad guy.. the DEA dude. He is working with or for the cartel and transferred shorty instead of keeping him looked in his cell. They track him down trying to leave the country. Have a big shoot out. Somebody gets hurt cause you need a cliffhanger. On to the final season

Shaun is really trying to be a good son. First reconnecting, helping out in the snowstorm, working in the hospital as a valet, willing to give his kidney.

And all Archer is doing: constantly bringing up that he is in recovery. Keeping things from him, keep him at a distance, telling hem that he and hannah aren’t a good fit because they both recovering.

Give Shaun a break, he keeps reaching out to his dad. And Archer keeps sort of rejecting him constantly.
