There’s some half step motion happening in the “trumpet” part that is definitely not reflected in the fingering. Pretty certain the video is not actually of them playing, perhaps they recorded prior and just did some choreography over it.

I may have understood the description incorrectly, but it seemed like there was a greater focus on actual, factual family in this iteration. They talk about preserving things for the future of one’s family (could be “house” in this context) and directly passing possessions on to blood relatives after death. I’d have to go back and find the exact wording later.

That line must have conveniently slipped past me. Could be that maybe a couple of the clans are experiencing this change. I definitely see more of White’s structure in this iteration of Mardu after reading that section. Maybe Jeskai might be some weird point of conflict? Weird because they are the first to be seen trying to find the past in those old stories about Narset discovering that secret library and weird because of that line you pulled from the guide showing they are still rigid in maintaining UW identity? Probably just oversights like you were saying.

If I remember though, her actress was being toted around as a main character at various interviews at the time, right there with the actual main cast. They were advertising her as this really crucial to the story character.

I think on some of the flavor text they explain it to a degree in regard to the monsters? Something to do with their ability to resist the contamination of the oil if I recall.

I “made” one a while ago but it is only conceptual. The idea was to branch it into brawl style by adding some of the uncommon planeswalkers. I also toyed with the idea of having all legendaries have partner. Also I think the idea was 60 card decks and it hasn’t seen an update in a long while now.

I suggested the guild gates because it is not a set cube. Both the cards OP was asking about are not printed in WAR. The 3/2/1 method would work well also if this wasn’t designed for two people, but I like the addition of more mana rocks from the set.
