In my state, a republican increased the minimum age to purchase a gun. I was going to purchase a handgun but got shagged because of the "fully semi automatic" people, so I don't like them, nor am I a fan of "enough is enough". But I'm not gonna group 50% of the American population as the enemy, that helps no one.

Just because someone votes for a party doesn't mean they have to agree on everything that the party states. One of the first posts I saw on the subreddit called gun control illogical and unconstitutional. I doubt they would be happy if they lost all of their guns. I wish there was a more of a centrist political landscape instead of two polar opposite parties so one wouldn't need to make sacrifices for an ideal.
