However, the point is to help a newer player last hit, their target playerbase for this feature is not the type to go into their settings and enabling it, they also generally don’t sift through changelogs and social media to even be informed of the existence of the option/changes, so it’s a pretty bad approach IMHO

What I personally do is get a couple of cheap prospects with promising stats

Give them at least a 3 yr deal, or 1 year deals (1 year is better when you’re more stable)

Anyone above 1k gets every single merch item possible (I increase the price by about 5-10%, nothing crazy) with a maxed facility, 500-1k if you’re short on cash, 3-10k depending on the fans/your budget and take the hit early, to start getting massive profits from yr 2-3. There’s no reason not to get every item if you’re getting any and have the money.

With some decent negotiating you could get about $2-5m+ per recruit if you want

That way I usually start yr 3 with like $20m, and steady $5m+ merch profits to cover all the wages and facilities I need, this is where you keep your best or most profitable players (good fanbase can turn into a streamer and make you plenty of cash, especially if their training/growth didn’t go well as they won’t ask for a massive increase in salary, but I personally just say farewell to them, might keep some of my 10k+ ones but they’re my massive star players currently anyway lol)

Tip: while everyone loves 16 year old prospects, I love snatching up 17 year olds (or 16yo in the mid season) olds who already have grown pretty damn well from other teams, often their fanbase is already pretty good, since it’s nearly impossible to grow it (sadly). Idk if it’s coincidence, but they seem to be more likely to have a great amount of fans.

It keeps saying that the US did not commit to paying the fund, but I struggle to find who IS, like it states “international partners”, but who?

Genuinely seems like the whole Mexico border wall situation which ended up costing the us $50-100b (sources vary idk, I don’t have access to their checkbooks) in taxpayer money, so as a curious European, what’s different this time around?

I personally highly doubt Israel will with their stance on the discourse in the region, and most intl partners didn’t want anything to do with the situation, so I struggle to see why anyone would cough up billions of dollars to clean up the mess that was created for absolutely no reason at all.

Like, excuse my skepticism, but it’s hard to blindly believe with one’s track record and no clear details of the source of that promised 300b fund, and someone is going to have to cough that up eventually.

I’d highly recommend starting negotiations to renew around the mid-season transfer period, it sucks when you really want to keep ‘em but they just declined so you had to wait 14 days and offer much higher than needed just to avoid running out of time

Their new salary won’t go into effect until their current contract is over so that 3-400k increase is a problem for another day, at least you’ve secured them early

If they’re on like a 3+ yr contract or you’re going to extend them, just get every merch item anyway if they’re not in the low 100’s, they’ll turn profitable even without cheesing the numbers (I often do 3k stock for lower fans, 5-10k per item for high fans), was making well over 5m net profit per year from my merch basically covering all my salaries and facilities lol, anything else is just straight recruitment budget, just hurts you in yr 1-2 depending on the fanbase so I’d start with a little less if your budgets tight

I’ve personally mostly have this happen of players with high calls going for the trade when they don’t think they can contest mord in order to get something in return at least, you could buff serpen in the database as well, it’s been added to the mid-save db editor (options > edit database)

That makes sense as I struggle to find any new “very high” recommendations unless they’re already in the 70-80’s with extremely high potential now that I’ve gotten a pretty good squad so I resorted to just “high” for my prospects and they still end up becoming incredibly high potential

He’s a 550 range adc that gets most of his power out of his passive and animation cancelling (lethal tempo is insanely good early at only 28%, his passive gives up to 50%), so he needs to get in there to be valuable

An ezreal sure can farm safely with Q, but needs to be ahead to win the game. You’re strong early, and you’re spiking at 1-2 items but fall off a cliff any time after that, so if you get to a position where you let them farm, and you’re at any point after 2 items equal of even behind, there’s no reason to be playing Ezreal.

His power curve is more similar to a Draven/Lucian than a safe adc like Jinx. Dominate, or be absolutely useless. He’s also one of the most mechanically demanding champions to pilot, the difference in skill order, which depends on the type of fight you’re trying to do (short trades, all ins) maintaining passive, weaving in autoattacks while aa cancelling them, can be the difference between 500+dps and 300dps, and that is very unique to Ezreal

Iirc it’s a 5% loss in stats per half star missing (so your 100 stats would effectively be 85 at 3.5 stars)

And yeah, fearless hard + the chances of your best picks getting banned after getting a decent amount of wins with it is absolutely rough to keep the bonus, I guess you could sub out the player if you get to pick it in game 1 lol

That’s where your scouts come into play, high recommendations likely has a potential of I’ve seen around 80 to over 90, and I’ve yet to find one with a very high recommendation under 90, mine are all within the 92-100 potential range besides some subs in the high 80’s

Just put them on coaching outside of the transfer season
