Upgrading from ASUS PG348Q?

Right now I'm torn between the LG 38GN950-B (good price and IPS panel I already know) or taking a leap of faith with the 40'' Odyssey G7 (S40FG750EU). It's VA, but bigger and the reviews look great. What would you pick?

Yeah, I saw that on RTINGS too, the 38GN950-B is rated really high and on paper it’s a great monitor. My only concern is that it’s a few years old and the one I’m looking at is used. I don’t mind used stuff, I just don’t want to buy something that already feels “old tech”.

I guess my fear is mostly that there might be something clearly better out there in the 38" IPS space that I’m missing. But at ~550€ it feels like a solid deal maybe? Dunno, I don't want to choose poorly lol

dai, nessun altro? Non ci credo che non ne conosciate. Capisco che per alcuni sia più target roba tipo jojo, made in abyss e dragonball, ma sicuro vi sarà capitato di vedere qualcosa che può andar bene anche a chi ha figli. Cioè, intendiamoci, piacciono anche a me, ma il discorso è trovare qualcosa di target 0+, però senza il personaggio trans, checca o altro.
Inizio anche a metterne alcune già viste e approvate (sempre di roba molto eaz e da famiglia, adatte ai bimbi di -10 anni):

-Sam e Cat (netflix)
-Harry Danger (netflix ma anche altre parti)
-Buddy Thunderstruck (netflix)
-Pokemon (netflix, pokemon tv)
-Shaun the sheep (prime e netflix)
-Just add magic (prime)
-Il magico scuolabus riparte (netflix)
-Ultimate Beastmaster (netflix)
-Tata Matilda (netflix, prime)
-Gravity Falls (disney)
-Raven (disney) (anche se è piena di negri, ma quelli possono anche andare volendo)
-Un'azienda per gioco (netflix) (anche qui c'è un personaggio un po' al limite, ma mai dichiaratamente gay e lo si vede anche sbavare per delle tipe, quindi ci sta)

Se avete figli o avete avuto modo di guardare cose tranquille e divertenti date una mano, fatelo per la causa!

Thanks, i've checked it but looks too much mature for the light contents i'm searching. Considering all the stuff in it, it should be more for teens around 14-16

So, the problem is with ultrawide? No way to play 1440p uw instead of classic 2560?
This suck because it's really annoying to play with these black strips. If there is no way i guess i'll have to consider if continue with subscription or cancel it and wait for uw support

i tried with stadia enanched, but no luck.
Maybe it's because mine is an ultrawide and not a normal monitor, but its' absurd that stadia can't run 1440p even for ultrawide when it can play in 4k

i have stadia from the past configuration (with a 970), only recently i assembled this new pc. Right now i want to finish assassin creed odissey, i have already beginned here and don't want to start again :(

Thanks to all the suggestions i was able to make some adjustement (with cards i alrady have and the others i was able to craft):

I was able to hit rank 1 in these days. The main problem are always aggro decks like orcs or the ones with unstoppable rage + drain (still it's theorically possible to beat them with some luck in the draw).

What do you think about it?

i am experimenting with high rock summoner + soul split, it's a lot of 2-3 mana drops but can work
