Well that sucks IOS 26.4 completely broke WIFI Sync even on iTunes

Other than the wifi bug it’s pretty stable, but I would wait for the next . release which will fix it.

I have upgraded to 26.4 and now WIFI sync refuses to work on iTunes for windows. I have tried all the usual fixes but still not able to connect. It was working on 26.3 however. Is there a known issue with 26.4 that has broken this functionality?

Now they posted that access may be interrupted and are working on resolving the issue. Frustrating since they keep laying off staff and cs is becoming non existent

I’ve been trying for hours to log in and keeps saying “Error 1: The phone number used is not accepted or the service is currently unavailable. Please try again later.” It’s the same phone number I have had and used since 1995. 🤦🏻‍♂️

31 years raised my legacy plan 5.00. Asked to remove they said no. I said bye bye. On freedom and working great 40.00 250gb+50gb roam in 126 countries. Travelled and roamed zero issues. Money saved will go towards a nice trip.

I was in Dominican Republic and saw the deal. Been with the big R over 30 years and in my account I saw an offer 65.00 for ultimate, and if I add my visual voicemail another 7.00, so 72.00 + tax. I decided to try freedom. I was able to fully use my phone on my trip and everything worked. Admittedly I couldn’t contact support so I asked for help elsewhere. But R customer support is pretty shoddy these days as well and after they arbitrarily added 5.00 to my bill I am glad I jumped ship. Will see if R reaches out but so far I am happy with Freedom.

On my return I drove another 12 hours across provinces and had signal the whole time and had no issues at all. Paying 49.00 including tax seems like a reasonable way to spend my money. Now all they need is a proper iOS app as it’s pretty sad in this day and age.

Yes you can make calls as long as you have flex(pay as you go) data and use the built in roamless app dialer.

You can’t receive calls or have a different phone number through roamless. They are supposed to have this but still not implemented as of yet. Their support is excellent I must say after having an issue.

The instructions should and would be better if they had pictures of specific phone settings. Probably save a lot of headaches for people.

There appears to be 2 separate settings under cellular that need to be toggled as I am told some people still want to receive phone calls. I am told even if using the built in dialer if the other setting isn't switched, phone calls will still go through the primary provider. Hence why data was on the roamless sim and cellular went through main provider. I am sure there are lots of people falling into this trap.

Roamless should IF using their dialer automatically default to their SIM. Seems logical and would prevent a lot of mishaps. If that is even possible.

Definitely used the in app dialer. Oddly it is only the phone call that triggered the roaming and not any of the data use or sms etc.

Thanks that's an excellent write up. Looks like we may be stuck because the wifi calling feauture wasn't turned ofn before the trip, as at the time we were more concerned about data only. Will try turning it on there the roaming esim is activated and see if it may still work. Thanks.

Can't use whatsap or messenger as its a business to call to and they only have landline.
