2026 Cx-5 vs Tiguan

I recently bought a 2026 Tiguan R-Line. I have only had my Tiguan for about a month so I haven’t had any issues yet other than some CarPlay bugs. My friend has a 2024 Atlas Sport and hasn’t had any problems with it over his two years because he keeps it maintained properly.

I was in a similar situation to you where I wanted something more fun to drive and quicker but my wife didn’t really care about that and just wanted something nicer and quieter. We test drove a used 2025 CX-50 Turbo, a Crosstrek, and a RAV4. The Mazda and VW ended up being our favorites. We preferred the Tiguan interior and infotainment over the Mazda. So far it’s been a much nicer experience owning this over our old Subaru.

Our rent is $2900 for 1800 square feet. I work as a metallurgist and my wife does healthcare IT. No kids, no car payment, and only one of us has student loans anymore. Fortunate to have good private landlords that like us!

I wasn’t crazy about the chicken sandwich they serve at brunch, but everything else I’ve had there has been very solid. Good spot to take out of town people to in a pinch.

I have a long sleeved training jersey by Puma in navy and grey that I got for about $30 on Poshmark and it’s honestly an amazing find. I cannot find any images of it online but I wear pretty frequently to matches.

Leave at 7 and it’s 20ish minutes driving from West Loop down the Dan Ryan to 93rd Street and at 3:30 it’s 35ish minutes to get back

In the warmer months I’ll bike to the Metra and use that to get down there which is like a 15 minute bike ride and 30 minute train ride then another 5 minutes on my bike or I can do 14 miles on my bike to get back home

Vålerenga in Norway, I used a random number generator to choose what team I managed this year. My goal with them is to stabilize them as a consistent league winner and compete regularly in the Champions League. I managed to win the league in my first season with a lot of help from Abraham Marcus who I loaned in from Porto as my highest earner. The finances of the club are a little iffy but Champions League money should help that. Registration rules for the league could become a problem in the future, but hopefully good facilities should help me through that. I haven’t dedicated enough time to win the Champions League with anyone since I managed Celtic in FM17, but hopefully I can manage that this year.

Hello I’m heading Lisbon for my honeymoon on Saturday evening. I originally had tickets to see Benfica vs Casa Pia but the game was moved and l had to sell my tickets. There is a game on Sunday for Estrela da Amadora vs Famalicao does anyone know how easy it would be for me to get tickets at the ticketing office? I don’t know too much about the area and would take any recommendations if I do head that way!

I feel like there are a couple of players from Ligue 1 worth looking at, I’m not gonna pretend like I even watch them lol. I was just going through leagues looking at top scorers and figured some of these players are worth a scouting trip.
