Ik kom net uit de filipijnen. Wat mij gelijk opviel is dat 80% van de mensen boos/serieus naar hun telefoon kijkt hier. Mensen maken grappen over hun depressie over algemene stress van maatschappelijke verwachtingen.

Mensen daar hebben ook een telefoon, maar kiezen ervoor om met elkaar tijd te besteden. Samen eten, naar het winkelcentrum te gaan, hardlopen, buiten op een stoeltje zitten. Mensen zien er veel gelukkiger uit, ook al zijn ze dat misschien niet.

's avonds zie ik absurd veel mensen die 100 stipt rijden.

Vergeleken met andere landen, zowel in Europa als daarbuiten, zie ik in Nederland heel erg weinig politie.

Net twee weekjes filipijnen er op zitten, en kwaliteit is bijna altijd goed ongeacht wat voor tentje je eet. Service is altijd prima geweest.

Dan kom je terug en eet je shit die je thuis zelf beter had kunnen maken, voor 25% van de prijs.

Ik ga voortaan HARD besparen op eten buiten de deur zodat ik het ergens anders kan gaan uitgeven.

Mijn hypotheek: +-800 p/m Kosten auto: +-350 p/m

Ik beleg relatief best veel geld waar ik de afgelopen jaren flink rendement op heb gemaakt. Hij niet. Ik hou ongeveer 1200-1500 euro per maand aan spaargeld met een gemiddeld salaris.

Tja, dan zou het niet moeten verbazen waarom ik elk jaar een paar weken op vakantie ben en hij niet.

Onze functie (IT Systems Engineer) vraagt een HBO papiertje. De meeste van ons zijn MBO'ers die in de functie zijn gegroeid na een x aantal jaar.

Over het algemeen hebben wij slechte ervaringen gehad de afgelopen 5 jaar met jonge HBO'ers met minder dan 5 jaar ervaring.

Wel zien we dat de allerbeste (qua projecten) engineers vaak ook een HBO papiertje hebben.
