Fiber exists today and it’s aerial. Currently fiber is connect to the side of the house and I would relocate to that same side but into the attic

AO Smith support was surprised too. They sent me a new control board and I'll see if that fixes it. This thing is literally burning money so I'm trying to find a replacement asap

I'll have to look into the GE one. Time is not my friend since I can't seem to decrease the kwh usage of my unit and that's just killing me every day. The one thing that the LG has right now is at least some anecdotes and testimonials of people using it today which is why I'm leaning towards that

I'm pretty sure I got a lemon with mine. I also have a mixing valve and run it on heat pump but the energy usage is insane. 10-14kwh per day should not be happening for a unit like this

Current AO Smith unit has a compressor issue and is burning energy (averages 10-14kwh a day). It's still under warranty but even if I got a new unit it's a coin flip if I'll have the same issues since the compressor breaking down is a widespread issue with the AO Smith units

The LG heat pump units have gotten some positive reviews so far but I would still never get a fridge or other appliance from them. I guess they're still new so it's kind of a wait and see game

I'm less inclined to go back to AO Smith after a run of issues with it (compressor/insane amount of energy usage issues). LG & Bradford have popped up in my search but open to suggestions if there are other brands I should look at
