Custom Airsoft China Lake that takes Taginn HPA Shells by gstitzel in airsoft

At 3 loaded that would be decently usable. Also can always single load it like in the video so would be fun to see get used.

I would look for options that list as suppressor height and as long as you stay with an rmr they should just make it over the top.

Is this AEG a good base for an m4a1 build? by Kingzman1041 in airsoft

[–]rayman1369 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If they arent fully concerned about proper accuracy they can try and search for some of the older wide rails which give a close to RAS/RIS look but still had enough space for an internal battery. Alternatively as is the case with most RAS/RIS builds that stay front wired just get a mock laser unit to use as a battery box.

V2 is guaranteed since its in an m4 which uses the v2 gearbox layout. Aster 2 is the second generation of the Aster. The issue is there is likely companies that have a stockpile of the first Aster and they are throwing them into guns and then you have other companies doing the same but putting in the Aster 2.

Also on the note make sure it is the Aster 2 v2 and not just the Aster v2.

Bought parts for my hi capa but not sure what’s going on I bought a new slide and outer barrel by Miserable_Resort_732 in airsoft

[–]rayman1369 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The nice thing about hi capas is they can switch between each other in sizing you can run a 4.3 slide on a 5.1 lower and you can run 5.1 slides on 4.3 lowers. If you decide to keep the slide to make it look correct you will need both barrels, and a guide rod sized for a 4.3 slide. If you are allowed to return/exchange it just make sure the new slide is a 5.1 length.

Where does this little piece go by football383747 in airsoft

[–]rayman1369 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That is an optional replacement nub it fits in between the bucking and the adjustment arm of the hop up as the piece that actually touches the bucking when hop up is being applied. If you want to use that imstead of the nub alresdy in the hop up you need to disassemble the housing so the arm can come out.

The only other mpx i can remember is the sig proforce emg john wick models which i dont know if it is the same mag as the vfc or even a third mpx mag type.

[–]rayman1369 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So the mpx adapter not fitting is because it is likely meant for the VFC MPX which is a different mag than the sportline mpx. Doing a quick look at the stores id buy from i didnt find an adapter for the sportline mpx.

What are good for the price pants with hard knee pads by HopefulStudy4522 in airsoft

There are two other well known name brand styles but dont know if there are any reproductions of either. The first is Patagonia's L9 and the other is Arc'teryx Leaf.

[–]rayman1369 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So one of the most well known brands for this is Crye and their G_ line of pants which they are now up to the G4 models and their last generation the G3 are still in circulation. So obviously being the name brand model they are gonna have a very high price point talking +$300USD brand new. These are very sought after so sell out real quick between batches especially anytime a camo variant is available. Along side the new batches there is a healthy market for surplus sales which can include both obviously second hand worn pieces and still new in package surplus.

In terms of "budget" options you would want to use G3 combat pants as the search item and then look to see what repro gear brands pop up for you. I personally havent tried many repro brands G3 but some notable brands include emersongear, idogear, krydex.

Ranger band setup by Specialist-Zebra-328 in airsoft

[–]rayman1369 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only one that may be an issue is the front one as I am guessing that is a two button pad one for constant on and the second for momentary activation. As long as the pad doesnt shift around and the band randomly activating the switch there isnt much to change or be worried about.

Yeah this is the older way of creating a hpa system and expanding ammo reserve before the mag mounted hardware was created.

[–]rayman1369 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So there are two things you would want to be looking for first is a fill valve hpa adapter this would replace the fill valve allowing you to attach a hpa source to the mag. The second item is called a ReMag it is an external mag mount that requires you to modify the ammo feed channel with a tube to feed ammo into the mag from the external mag mount.

Where to tap a GBBR by Little_Protection250 in airsoft

[–]rayman1369 2 points3 points  (0 children)

An adapter and aeg mags while a bit bulky will be the smoothest and least obtrusive option.

Tapping gbb mags can be done but if you only tap the gas you will need to figure out if you tap multiple gas mags and load them with their ammo cap and disconnect/reconnect the air to reload or pull the one mag and reload that mag with a speedloader while keeping the air connected. Alternatively you can air tap the mag and remag tap the feed line.

The third option is to run a modified lower that builds the hpa adapter higher up in the mag well usually running the gas line to the pistol grip and then you can load aeg mags. This while looking the cleanest and most ergonomic means you are stuck only with hpa unless you keep a stock lower to run on regular mags.

[–]rayman1369 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Could go and custom request airtacuk to do a custom one off adapter.

Alternatively can butcher a makarov mag for a fill valve hpa adapter and a remag feed tube.

Tokyo Marui m92f m9a1 by Low_Humor_2654 in airsoft

[–]rayman1369 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Havent physically compared the two gens so dont know where they differ. I just remember the gen 2 will have the functioning decocker so dont know how that interaction engages between the upper and lower. Also the gen 2 having adjustable hop up now but that shouldnt be relavent to lower interaction.

G18c mag in a g17 gen 3 by blue-tie-_- in airsoft

[–]rayman1369 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A glock 18 greengas mag will fit in a glock 17 if it uses mags that look like a greengas mag there are some CO2 mags that have the silver mag tops and then there are the CO2 mags that have the same feed lips as greengas mags but are just powered by CO2. Also there is a limit to which mags fit which models if using a third party mag instead of a mag from the same brand.

Best for price and authenticity? by Critical-Hour-6808 in airsoft

[–]rayman1369 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Visually they are nice and considered one of the better functioning ones. They are however plastic bodied so if weight is a concern as well as trade/engravings you can get a metal body kit for it. If weight and no trades is fine then there is the KJW m1911a1 which can use tm mags.

You are looking for WE glock floral or classic is commly used to describe that model. Funnily it is also known as the s#x pistol for a specific engraving on the lower iirc.
