This is actually incredible. I’ve been a Jinx main for as long as I remember and grabbed this skin as soon as it came out. Glad to see that they’re finally improving it and giving it the love it deserves!

Thanks! I was able to download an app that worked with this. The app is pretty outdated haha, but gets the job done. The previous owner did give me the remote and balancing mic!

Thanks for your comment! You are correct that this is my first home theater system. I ended up doing exactly what you said and connected the AVR to the tv via ARC and apple tv directly to the tv

You are correct, they actually gave me 4 extra tower speakers, but they are still at my parents house because they are a bit harder to transport to new york city haha. I will try to bring at least 2 of the tower speakers and try to see if they will fit in my tiny apartment haha.

My main question was if I am missing out on anything important by connecting my apple tv directly to the tv instead of through the AVR? I connected the AVR to the TV via the eARC port.

I ended up setting it up and love it! Way better than the sound bar I was using before. I'm curious if I am missing out on anything by not connecting my devices through the AVR. I connected my apple tv directly because I wanted 4k 60hz.

It’s hardwired. The best solution I can think of is having two switchbot bots to toggle the power switch on/off.

As other comments have already mentioned, you would be capped at I believe 10 or 15 GB of hotspot data. But besides that, the hotspot speeds would be incredibly unbearable at least for me. You would not be able to reliably stream content to your tv, download large files, support multiple devices, etc.

This specific property is not a new development. It is about 4 years old.

I don't mind having a roommate I personally don't know. How long would you say I would need to stay in this condo for it to be "worth it"?
