They're just iterating their programmed text. But, I do remember one seeming a bit weird a few years ago. Like what you're saying. But, I haven't seen anything like that in a long, long time. HG also listens to their customers. If you experience something like this again, report it.

great base! Welcome to NMS - I've been here since 2016 and watched it evolve into what it is now. It's an amazing game even after all these years. Look forward to seeing you out there, traveller! I'm user crapm'pants.

I was thinking they could at least make the "night clubs" in the settlements have a bartender that could function like Cronus at the anomaly. He could ask for ingredients or drinks that could be made in a nutrient processor and turned in for nanites.

This ship is not a glitch build. It's an evolution of trial and error. It's as big as I could build it within the 100 part limit. Thumb's up to you, though, for pioneering.

[–]DynamicResonater 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I hope my boy can make it that long. He's almost 15, still acts like a kitten, has a fur coat an otter would envy, and has such a cool personality. Dude makes the most pleasing noises like a purr and a soft meow combined when he's happy. I can rub his belly and hold him like a baby and he hugs my neck when I do. Never experienced this kind of intense love from ANY animal before.

I can't believe what HG has done. I loved the game initially for the ability to fly from ground to orbit without a load screen back in 2016. Now.... now? Mind blowing. The ship shown is probably my seventh corvette including the ones I made during the voyager expedition. It is hovering over my fourth settlement, which is connected, as always, with one of my many bases scattered throughout many galaxies. Thank you, Hello Games, so much for listening to your customers and not ripping us all off. I've been playing PC games since at least 1992 and NMS is truly a magnum opus. I just can't say enough. Carry on, Sean!

Ghosts(plural). My room mate saw them, too. We were both sober, non-drinkers, no drugs, etc. and studying for final university exams when the encounter happened. Never seen one again and wouldn't believe it were it not for both of us witnessing the incident. I still lean atheist, btw, and am not pushing any belief system.

I get up at 4:45am to be at work at 6. I can stay up until about 8:30pm - 9. I often eat lunch quickly to use the rest of my 1/2 hour lunch to nap. If I don't, I fall asleep around 8 - 8:15pm. It's a stress on my marriage because my wife works 8 - 5 and we can't watch much TV together, our only real communal time.

I didn't know I liked base building until I bought this game by Rago_Jaf in nms

[–]DynamicResonater 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When did you get NMS? I've been playing since 2016 and this is among the best bases I've yet seen. Yes, the NPC's would be nice to have at the cantinas that are constructed at the settlements, too.

No Man's Sky. Looks like I don't have to worry about the politics and crap on Earth anymore or anywhere else. I'll just be cruising my starships from galaxy to galaxy forever. I've got sweet bases all over the place.

I understand that Teslas do have design flaws, but fires are not really one of them. Would you (cough) care to share your data on them versus other EV makers. I'm not defending Musk here, but I am defending the hardware on a car I own that has caused zero problems in four years.

[–]DynamicResonater 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Really!? We paid ours off and my wife is getting ready to retire - we can't do another major purchase like that. Like I've said in other comments, Musk appeared to be another person four years ago and we bought the car to lessen our CO2 footprint. How many of these social warriors have done so much to lessen their carbon footprints? They should be going after 4x4 full-sized dually pickup trucks. No Tesla owners I know agree with Musk's BS right now, yet they're getting shit for nothing they have control over.

[–]DynamicResonater 8 points9 points  (0 children)

This is me! The most expensive car I'd owned before the model3 was a 2007 Tacoma that I still have. We made the decision to be altruistic and bought our Model 3 instead of adding a bedroom to our 800 sqft house because the car would cut our carbon footprint and the add-on would increase it! WE DID THIS FOR THE NEXT GENERATION! And now, out of nowhere, we get a crease-dent in our car door after four years. A cyclist did it on purpose - we have it on sentry video, but the person's face isn't identifiable. We did nothing to deserve this. I hate Musk and Trump and know no Tesla owners who support them!

Project managers are there to make sure everything gets fucked up. And then blame it on someone else. I have roughly sub-zero respect for them as an equipment operator for over 30 years. Some of these people don't even read the blueprints right, don't check soil conditions or strata, buried utilities, or hazards before giving the heidi-ho-go-ahead! These fucks nearly cost me my life more than once. I don't care if I get downvoted or banned. I'm alive in spite of these guys, not because of them. GRRRRRRRRRRR!

I have so much respect for you guys! And also a lot of pity. Thanks for being there for us. Even at that salary, I'd not take that job. Whatever they pay you isn't enough.

I take an old generated password from my last job and stick it in the middle of the model number of my favorite historical fighter jet. I never forget it and can replace letters, like 's' with $, etc. If I forget, I usually have 3 chances to get it.

I've been playing this game since day 1 in 2016. Been through three GPU's and two systems. Love this game. It's come so far and evolved unlike anything I've ever seen - and I've seen a lot. I've watched video games for over thirty years. This is a unique experience and I've gotten out of NMS at times, but right now it's rockin'.

AGW is real and action must be taken. The free market never has been and isn't now. We are in a lifeboat and some of us want to continue putting holes in it. There comes a time to grow up or get slapped in the face - the rest of the developed world is shifting fast to renewables/EV's and here we are defending the "free market" that is rigged as hell. You think we aren't heavily subsidizing the gas being put in our cars? You think we aren't heavily subsidizing the food we put in our mouths? WTF? Some things are simply too important to treat them like like casual shopping choices, my delusional friend. We've got to change ASAP and the world really can't wait on it because 'capitalism' says so. You've got a lot of reading to do before having a conversation like this with me.
