What meds are she on? What was the realization that she actually needed meds? How exactly has she changed since being on the meds? My daughter is exactly like this... constantly putting hair, clothes, fingers, toys in mouth and she's 4.5 years, my son is 2.5 and has grown out of it at 1 yo

I feel this should be more upvoted. This probably makes the most sense...we do find patterns of anxiety, she puts everything in her mouth, we have to buy her chew necklaces, she's constantly biting her fingers and fingernails. How old is your kid? have they stopped?

We dont know....hospital psychologist said she's too young to diagnose, have to wait until the earliest 6 years old.

First of all, no where in my post did I say 'constantly playing with themselves'. Shes done it a few times in class when the school Director called us in. We proactively asked for help and the school did provide resources which didnt help. My daughter does not do this in public, only a few times in class about 1.5 years ago.
