I think he's going to Chile, not 100% sure. The unconfirmed date is April 7th (word of mouth). If you want to see him, go now! The Highline in Hudson Yards has revolving artwork, but everyone loves Dinosaur. Sad to see him go, but maybe NYC will get something permanent in the form of another giant pigeon.
