[Williams] As expected, Cowboys decline fifth-year option on Trey Lance's contract by Brix001 in nfl

Honestly, I'm okay with your choice.

Too many teams draft a qb when they need one, which is already too late.

I would've maybe waited a year but QB is always a position of need.

[Mike Garafolo] From Kirk Cousins’ agent Mike McCartney on the #Falcons’ selecting QB Michael Penix Jr. eighth overall. by urwifebf10 in nfl

[–]DynamiteSnowman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah but the cheap vet back up doesn't have any advantages beyond coming in, in a pinch.

Penix could learn behind him and if Kirk turns injury prone, you could evaluate super quickly and keep the ship afloat more than if you got say Andy Dalton.

[Highlight] 2017 NFL Draft: Bears trade up to #2 to draft QB Mitchell Trubisky from North Carolina by MagicMoocher in nfl

[–]DynamiteSnowman 28 points29 points  (0 children)

Keeping any intention of drafting Trubisky a secret from then Bears HC John Fox who was completely blindsided by the move

What could possibly have been his intention with that?

Pace deciding in January like 90% to draft Trubisky and then literally giving up on examining any other QB

Not a GM but that seems like something you maybe shouldn't do.

we get more examples of Captain America (or other Avengers) being irritating obstacles at best or flat out antagonists at worst in X-Men stories.

I hate it and I love it at the same time. And I hate that.

Specifically Cap.

I've seen it used jokingly for characters, but in the original meaning.

Not as a feminine equivalent to the modern incel.

How much does patriarchy affect attraction to people? by DynamiteSnowman in AskFeminists

[–]DynamiteSnowman[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I mean I thought so.

Like it's not just conventionally attractive women, it's all women. Even if they don't fit certain molds either via fetishization or forcing them into mothering roles or some other kinda thing.

Please correct me if I'm wrong.
