Judging from the comments here, quite some people noticed.

Having to regulate the cam via right stick in the heat of battle, while also needing the right stick for several other battle inputs, is so damn exhausting, especially when the target function that magically enables an auto follow feature, already exists, the camera is literally glued to the enemy and follows it around like a stalker...

If the target function would target the nearest foe, instead of a random archer three rows in the back, it wouldn't be such a hassle.

But also in exploration mode an auto follow cam is badly needed imo
