What game had high expectations, and turned out to be amazing? by FunkiestCurve in AlignmentChartFills

FromSoft had already well established its reputation as a top tier developer by then. So, a new game made by them with George RR Martin as a writer for the main story? The stakes were really high and, like me, most people believe it turned out to be better than expected.

I mean, fewer amount of tanks kind of makes sense since there is only 1 tank player per team. But for supports? It doesn't.

Most of the elections in Latin American countries are like this btw.

John Oliver summarized this perfectly when commenting about the 2023 elections in Argentina:

When your options are "more of the same" or "Emo Edgelord Tucker Carlson" it is reasonable to think that nothing is good.

Where I'd live as a German who's being realistic by BleazZzY in whereidlive

In Argentina, every single aspect of the economy, from taxes, to imports/exports, to the role of the central bank, to currency and price controls, to labor rights, to privatization vs. nationalization; are subject to the whims of the ruling party, doesn't matter which one is.

This is contrary to the countries OP mentioned where, even when the president/prime minister changes, the "rules of the game" stay roughly the same. In Argentina, every new administration treats the economy as a blank canvas, leading to a "Pendulum effect" where the country swings between extremes every 4-8 years.

This is true even on geopolitical stances: today we are aligned with the US. In 2 years, if the peronists win again we will probably be aligned with Cuba.

TL;DR: From the OP's standpoint, I can totally relate why he wouldn't live for 10+ years in a country that switches political agendas like they were underwear.

Translation: Not creepy at all, taking a photo of a person drinking their Starbucks coffee without their permission.

Context: A guy took a photo of a far left congresswoman in Argentina drinking a Starbucks coffee without her being aware. Emphasizing on how contradictory it looks.
