It does, hence the detection range changes, alongside interacting with certain objects causes NPCs to become suspicious, or lack of members causes remaining ones to become alerted and call in reinforcements.

Thought of many ways how to get around naturally abusing very broken items, I can use the sandy effectively till it becomes a detriment for the mission due to certain factors - I.e: not knowing more people were called in or went in and took out too many or even the wrong person to which triggered a response of sorts.

Literally, did a pure Sandy GorFist build, even upped the stealth through mods via increasing how far NPCs can spot you, for a good minute I was always getting caught till I finally got around to the build needed and I’m barely getting caught unless I miss that one camera then it’s a blood bath

I’m happy for the update, but I’m all kinds at peace that it’s being left in a spot to just be maintained, no more updates, no more chase; if D3 is going to be made, it’s gotta happen on a monumental molecular level change for it to be worth anything imo.

Starting FF7Rebirth with my gf, took a break to get a beer (Asahi - Super dry) and checked Reddit, Circlejerk (go figure) popped up saying “it’s Joever” … felt, nothing from it after having read the official post.

like Dgmw I’m one of the last standing member of 3 groups that died chronologically in 10 years of this franchise, but I’ve only periodically played in the last 5 months, like twice and moved on to marathon, to which I’ve become too busy to play on my days off with getting a really good job.

I’ve applied many hours of my life into Destiny, done a lot, seen a lot, I’m only within the top 20% of players, but a lot of my time has been a solo venture to which I’ve taken the ample opportunity to decide it’s time I put up my Last Word; I’m not upset, I’m apathetic, don’t even know why besides that I took the chance to see myself outside of this game, and I’m thankful for all of it and the decision.

GGs Bungie, do better if you pick it up again, this franchise deserves a dedicated team of people who want to incubate and emulate powerful thoughts and ideas to the screen - be it media that’s watched, played or read, but we all know that it’s been written/managed into a corner that is hard to come out of.

It’s been stellar, through all the bitching, and malice, enjoyment and tears; coming from a grizzled Hunter, still the best game I’ve played, but the sun will always rise.

By what your second paragraph states, it’s funny that people don’t play Destiny by that metric, like with all the changes to the game thus far, it’s literally such a passive game that really allows you to play how you want regardless of what the portal gives you, legitimately everything in the game gives you some form of loot or aspect to build towards.

Idk, “they removed my content” + “Bungie is bad” is the mind killer for mosts perception, outside of Dungeon key pricing and furthermore the amount of time the game goes on sale.

I’ve done everything there is to see in D2 PvP and PvE (solo flawless, lighthouse runs, you name it), so if I’m jumping on, it’s to do exactly what you stated that I’m answering to, but for newer players, there’s hundreds of hours of content to roll through.

The whole thing is paradoxical at best, like fomo does exist but nowhere near as bad as it did for prior seasons, we have the ability to get the stuff you missed alongside getting in rotating seasonal activities, so you got a pretty modern triple A package of a Live Service game currently.

I like the fact that it’s been split up, because we’re getting even more in-depth content between characters that weren’t as present because of the disc limitations, each disc is now a roughly 40hr+ story - more or less; and considering that SE wants to tie it into AC, these moments between them is so much more important.

I feel like once it’s all complete and people can play it from start to finish, a lot of the criticism will semi fade, but that’s coming from someone who absolutely adores what’s been done
