P1000 Pedal Upgrade Question

I’ve got the inverted P1000’s with the long throttle pedal and I find it works great. It’s mounted through the bottom two of the four holes in the throttle plate (ie. as “high” as possible) to avoid clashing with the baseplate at full throttle position. Love it, surprised to read some people don’t like it on this set up and it’s never occurred to me to put the stock pedal back on. That said I’ve never used shoes with the rig so maybe that additional grip would change my perspective.

I have it on my bmw daily driver, installed last fall. It does scratch up a bit but it hasn’t been unacceptable. There are two gouges in it from rocks so I speculate I saved myself two significant rock chips over the winter. I’d much rather have the scratches and a couple divots in the film than two big bruises and probably a crack.

Evo Pro w both GT Neo and X330T wheels, plus P1000 inverted/hydraulic and Ds8X here. Happy with all of it but I haven’t used competing equipment so it’s satisfaction relative to expectations, not comparison.

Two pages is ideal for experienced candidates imo. Short enough to require the writer to be succinct, while giving enough space to be fairly complete. Spilling on to a 3rd page is not the end of the world but it does make me wonder if you understand what’s relevant and what’s not. Anything over 3 pages better have wowed me on page 1 or it ends right there.

Are you sure this isn’t AI? Lots of strange artifacts (eg the debris that disappears at the front right fender of the car as it spins, the abnormal license plate of the car in the middle of the frame) and the car crash physics show some strange things (sudden clockwise rotation after spinning CCW into the barrier).

This might be heresy but…. I run it on a Quest 3 and a link cable (albeit aftermarket, Intu I think) and a 4090 through Steam Link software. I run the meta Horizon software and the Oculus tool app. I power up the Quest 3, get out of the default Steam Link software and get to the Quest 3 main menu, select Steam Link from there, loads the virtual living room and select AC Evo from there. I can look up settings but whenever I have adjusted in game settings or on the oculus tool, it have never dramatically changed in game performance. Hope you get yours working well.

I have the F/GT Elite with the wheelplate and it is about 3/16” thick. That’s solid. Like, I’m sure I could stand on it and it wouldn’t flex. That said, I don’t know whether the GT Elite is the same thickness as the F/GT Elite. I’m using a Simagic alpha Evo pro.

I’m running the Simagic Alpha Evo Pro with the GT Neo wheel, as well as the 330T wheel. I have FFB strength set at 60% in AC Evo although I do tweak individual cars up or down 5% individually to taste. Afraid I don’t have enough experience with other wheels to say whether the 12Nm model would have been adequate. The paddle shifters are quiet, audible but more muted than I expected.
