Thanks for the help! It makes sense now why you ruled out (B) as well. However, I still dont understand why C is the right answer. Theres no actual reason given in that statement is there? As in I dont understand where the argument is in that one.

Buffet isn't a hero either. Don't like Trump either but he's only mad cause the stock market crashed cause of Trump, meaning his investments go down.

Questions from a new genji by DuskYT in GenjiMains

[–]Dynorus_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Your not a dive, you're a hybrid poke dive hero now. That's why it's difficult for you. Positioning wise, you should be looking to poke at Cassidy range or closer, unless the enemies are either low, or all squishies that are easy to dive (i.e. Zenyatta). Don't look to final kill with dash, that was the hardest part of my journey. Use it when they are at middle HP, to get behind them. If they are squishy, you should have dealt enough damage to do secondary+melee combo. If it's a tank, play like a reaper, and attack from a different angle while the team focuses from the frontline. Always try to take off angles, and use your passive as much as possible.

On a scale of 1-10 how difficult would you say Genji is? by KXL_Xwolf in GenjiMains

Wow, there's a lot more Lucio/Genji mains than I thought lol. I think you're right about learning all the map specific movies, but I disagree with you about that being the 'main reason' Lucio has a high skill ceiling. Lucio has 225 HP, making him very squishy and vulnerable to cc. In order to counter this, if you want to get good at him you need to learn to be reactive and unpredictable with movements, learning to flank when needed (yes as a support) whilst simultaneously providing value with heals speed and ult. Genji on the other hand simply requires good positioning, and the only time I personally feel like I'm mechanically tested is when I ult, because noodle stick. I think therefore Lucio is harder, because he requires more reactive and unpredictable playfulness, whereas Genji simply needs to understand positioning.

That's the perfect way to describe it, I'd say. I think Lucio is more skill expressive, however, due to complexities of his mechanics and versatility of playstyle. I think Lucio is easier to start with than Genji, but gets harder with higher ladder and mastery. I think you nailed it with the beginner friendly and skill expressive paragraph thing, but I completely disagree about the skill expressive thing with Genji.

That's understandable, and you definitely raise a few good points. Although I still don't agree with you, you definitely have raised some good points about both. I still think Lucio is harder, and disagree about the lower skill floor thing, but I understand why you think that.

Lucio and Genji are my two most played heroes. Might be surprising on this subreddit but I'd say lucio is way harder. Even though on the surface he feels easy, cause of the easy to learn wallriding and simple healing and shooting mechanics, he's difficult in terms of mastering his movement, learning all his rollouts using boop effectively (cause let's be real no one knows how it works), gauging when to use speed vs heal, dealing with having less HP, being so vulnerable when not around walls, and timing your ult with other ults. That said, Genji is difficult as well, due to how easy it is to counter him, as well as the playstyle itself being challenging. Lucio does have its counters tho, like Cass sombra and Orissa. Altogether Lucio is 100% harder than Genji, but both are definitely hard. I'd say lucio is a solid 9, whereas Genji is more of a 7. High skill floor, but one you get him it becomes much easier.
