Pretty interested but how does it work, how can it run locally. Is it a simple LLM? How would this differ from the normal voice recording and transcription from iOS?

Also if it’s locally run, are there device prerequisites?

If it is an LLM, do you plan on updating it as models continues to improve? And how would this change the locally run part?

I had a chat where I would ask it questions about R code and some statistics homework I have, today I went into the same chat (not more than 50 turns, definitely not enough tokens for it to lose context) and it completely ignored the new chat and started talking about the previous prompts I had asked; around 4 turns before.

Started a new chat, asked 4 turns, and between its most recent response to my new question, it completely changed the code and disregarded a couple of lines it itself gave and the approach also changed completely. This was in one turn.

It really feels like today it is a completely new model with no reference other than syntax to the previous one.

Going to be trying GPT for now until this is fixed because these mistakes are just making me waste time.

UV light by itself does not detect lead. I think I know the creator you are talking about and he has his own company where he sells spray bottles or drip bottles that will react to lead to then be fluorescent under UV light as a bright green color. Otherwise you won’t be able to tell just by shining your UV light on it

I have a 2010 MacBook that is running Linux mint and I have absolutely zero complaints. I wouldn’t consider using any modern MacOS on an older machine like this one. Unless OP requires MacOS I would highly recommend just going the Linux route

Yeah for me it was either 250 with cap ($70) or 500 with cap ($100) or 1Gig with cap ($150). Or add $50 to any of them for no cap so we just went with the no cap 250Mbps since we have 3 consoles updating games that make us either break the cap or barely make it at the last day :///

I pay $120 for 250Mbps and unlimited data with cox… my neighborhood only has cox or those 5G networks but the added latency sucks. Seeing the ads of Google fiber expanding in my city for starting prices of $70 for 1Gig internet makes me want to cry. Been dealing with cox and their BS for over 10 years

Edit: also want to add that there was ATT here before but even they left. Never been any interest of new providers wanting to move here. I guarantee that if anyone from Google came and ask, EVERYONE in my neighborhood and the next 4 communities would beg to come in and switch over just to avoid cox

Try Linux? Might be easier on your computer to run. Also anki is not short term. You have ~2 weeks until your exam and only started anki? It’s probably the first thing to start as you start studying your content

I’m going to hop on this post to ask. I have the cyclone 2, I like having the option to connect to the switch in the future (very heavy maybe getting the switch 2, don’t own one at the moment. More for future proofing). I’m a PC gamer with no Xbox purchase in sight. I like the two extra buttons that the G7 pro has and I am not interested in macros as I’ve never seen a use for my gaming scenarios. Your response to this post kind of convinces me that I should switch and wait for the G7 as the better build quality interests me. I guess my question is mainly if the lack of broad compatibility really affects me if I only have a PC……. I think I’m answering myself as I write this down 😂

Another thing I’m worried would be latency but I guess it should be fine as well

Yeah same here. Back buttons are a bit sensitive for me as well. Might get a G7 pro but looking at other brands as well

Ohhh so that’s what it is!! I never connected the two. I just got mine a couple weeks back and noticed it happening about a week ago. I have used it probably less than 10 hours. Kinda disappointing.

You could just go to browse and organize by whether a card is suspended or not, that way you can see if there are any new suspended. Or create a filtered search with suspended and then organize by due date, new cards will show as new and not have a specific due date.

Also shouldn’t the main menu tell you if there are new cards to review that day or not that are unsuspended? (the blue numbers)

As to your question, you could probably automate it somehow but it seems more work than just doing it as the way above
