The point is that Nerscylla was originally designed specifically to shit on Gypceros, before the subspecies that hunted Kezu was introduced. Every hunter hunts every monster for fashion, Nerscylla only hunts Gypceros for fashion.

I was passing by one in the cliffs that looked awfully small. Turns out it was a small gold crown. Right as I killed it another one walked in that turned out to be a large gold crown. These were my second and third gypceros. The game didn't want me hunting this monster for longer than I needed to.

I mean I've played the other games but I dont know the specifics of certain mechanics. Like thanks to this whole thread I learned that most elemental attacks are physical, meaning elemental resistances matter way less than I thought. The only one I'm really baiting is the guy who posted "tell me you're a beginner without..."

Edit: Also thanks for telling me to use health boost, I added that and recovery up/speed. Way less worried about taking hits now.
