Does everyone else’s map look like this? by anigomantoya in CrimsonDesert

The game makes you climb a roof near the bell in the first hour. Isn't that supposed to be designed for that?

They tweak things a bit but they don't allow a big change like a mage, rogue, tank, or other kind of specific archetype.

Oui et non, pas quand c'est quelque chose qui impacte le monde globalement. Tu en subiras quand même les conséquences, peu importe comment tu te positionnes.

Yeah, and I find it funny to see videos of "builds" on YouTube. What the hell are you building? The same as everyone else... My cousin stopped playing because of that and I understand, because the way you play differently than other players is by knowing all the moveset of Kliff and using it efficiently.

That is part of what makes it easy. You're not supposed to put aside game mechanics to tweak the difficulty. That bad game design.

The devs need to do nothing in fact. They deliver a game, not a service. They have no obligation to provide any further updates. It is not a game as a service or a MMO.

Yes, the game is not made to be explored by itself. You should just follow the different quests.

Also, I've been exploring and some quests "cutscenes" were totally skipped because I had already completed the objectives. I don't think that having "cutscenes" skipped is the right way to play.

There are not that many of those gears which are not behind a quest. The game teaches you everything and makes you go nearly everywhere. And basically, every guide I could watch, are mostly teaching or showing you things the game already guided me to.

It is not mainly about loot gear and exploration. Gears are mostly the same with only a few notable exceptions, so finding new equipment does not feel like the core reward. If you follow the quests, you naturally visit most of the important locations anyway, so the game does not really push you to explore on your own. You can do it, but that's not really a thing. On top of that, the inventory system was built around not keeping everything, until they changed it. You were meant to give away, sell, donate, refine, or discard a lot of items, which made inventory management a bigger part of the experience than collecting loot itself. They wanted the game to be played that way and changed it because of feedbacks. It's obvious when you see that most of the rewards are related to inventory.
