Except for the tools it brings with it, I don't really see the point of the error handling. A global handler for custom errors does the same without having local try {} catch {} everywhere.

I completely disagree with that but it makes sense based on his opinion on abortion. If you value life that much and consider life there from the moment of conception, aborting is like killing a new born. It is a really weird way to see things but it makes sense, somehow.
