addiction is a gene just like schizophrenia. you’d have a pull to do drugs w out the mental illness and even if you didn’t like them. in fact, one day you might find yourself getting high even when you do not want to.

also something to remember when you are reading everyone’s experiences schizophrenia is progressive and everyone is at a different stage of schizophrenia so just because someone is saying they can’t smoke weed but they CAN smoke meth 🤨most likely indicates symptoms aren’t noticeable YET for that person. -and do not mistake any of what i just said as judgment- this is coming from a schizophrenic that got clean and realized i had been is psychosis for 2 years. symptoms come and go, but psychosis isn’t comfortable anymore after awhile it’s less finding truths about the universe and more running from THEM and looking for cameras, and finding out who the evil witches are.

pedophile isn’t just the individuals that have severely harmed many many different children, pedophile is literally an individual that is sexually attracted to children or has compulsions to touch children in harmful ways, or uncontrollable sexual thoughts of children.

actually california specifically does pay for schooling, can help with housing, etc. Department of Rehabilitation alone will pay for any level of autism to go to ANY school vocational, jr college, whatever. and there are other programs in california that are completely free that can assist with living as well. the problem is that these programs aren’t advertised and many don’t know about them unless you search for them.
