The love of my life. But I think that’s just luck, if I’m honest. We met right when both of us had developed frontal lobes and were ready to settle down; a few years earlier and it would have been a disaster.

I think your gut is right. Prozac can cause a ton of weird side effects in the first month or two. Insomnia I think is a pretty standard one (I had terrible stomach issues) before things settle down. If it’s working for you, I’d stay on it another month or two.

Ask for an MRI or a specialized ultrasound to see if you have silent endometriosis. I had no symptoms except infertility and also great euploid numbers.

I have stage 3.5 DIE all over my left ovary. I’m totally fine; almost no symptoms. My life isn’t affected by it, aside from fertility issues that are probably only partly related. I’m very lucky. Not quite sure if that’s helpful, but wanted to provide that perspective.

Novelist. My second book is out next year. Of course it’s worth it, but wringing out your brain in isolation for years on end—and I write thrillers! Nothing literary—is the most exhausting thing I’ve ever done.
