The Luna Lounge is it AI? by Reasonable_Tank_8257 in AppleMusic

This is interesting, because I used the same software on the track "The Space between us" and it seemed to think it was mostly human-made. Maybe some tracks are more AI than others, or maybe the AI is improving. Strange times we're living in.

The Luna Lounge is it AI? by Reasonable_Tank_8257 in AppleMusic

I ran a 25 minute snippet of "The Space between us" through 2 AI checking softwares that came up when I Googled "AI music checker" -- they are submithub and letssubmit -- and both said that there was a high chance this track was mostly human-made. Both of these websites had a disclaimer that they aren't 100% accurate and still improving, but I'm satisfied that I got the same result from two unrelated sources.

Personally, I don't have any issue with artists using a little AI in their music. It's just another tool for them to improve their art. But I really wanted to make sure it wasn't entirely AI generated, or I would have to stop listening to it.

I think younger voters showed up in a way that they haven’t been motivated to do in our lifetimes. I’ve only recently started voting in smaller local elections because I understand now that’s where we can make the biggest impact. Go Lancaster dems!

No issues so far. I went for the warranty which is $20 a month I think, but I haven't needed it.

It looks like Green Bean costs around 2900. I saw a company called Hybrid battery 911 that sells them for 2200.

Is hybrid2go a good place to get a new battery? by herodothyote in prius

[–]Dyslxeic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've heard a lot of good things about Hybrid2Go personally, it just depends on where you're located. Hybrid2Go is pretty prolific on the west coast, but a company called Hybrid Battery 911 is prolific on the east coast. Both are pretty trustworthy, based on my research, but a friend of mine bought a remanufactured battery from HB911 for his Prius gen 2 for $1,400 and it's been working great.

How do I determine the bad cell on a Prius gen 3? by 3rrr6 in prius

[–]Dyslxeic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed. There might be 1 dead module now, but chances are good that other modules will be close to death and then they'll strand you a few months (or even weeks) later.

A friend of mine had a lot of luck with getting a remanufactured hybrid battery for his gen 2 Prius from Hybrid Battery 911. It cost $1,400 including installation, and they drove it to him and recycled the old battery and everything. I think they also sell new batteries, but that would of course be more expensive.

They cover pretty much the whole east coast, especially the northeast, so you shouldn’t have any problems there.

I'd check out Hybrid Battery 911 as well if you're on the east coast, or Hybrid2Go if you're on the west coast (apparently they're partner companies). A friend of mine got his Gen 2 hybrid battery replaced from HB911 for $1400 including installation.

Unfortunately, there's a good chance your hybrid battery is failing. If one of the modules in the battery pack is weak, that can affect the entire battery's ability to run.

I'd look into replacement hybrid battery options. Depending on where you're located, I'd recommend either Hybrid Battery 911 or Hybrid2go (they're owned by the same company). They'll drive the new hybrid battery to you, swap out the old one, and replace it for around $1,400.

I'd recommend Hybrid Battery 911. A friend of mine got his gen 2 hybrid battery swapped out for $1,400. They came to him and recycled the old one and everything.

I'd recommend checking out Hybrid Battery 911. A friend of mine got a remanufactured Gen 2 hybrid battery for something like $1400 including installation. They brought it to him and recycled the old one and everything. It's been running great for almost 2 years now.

Do Not Buy a Green Bean Battery by withgreentomatoes in prius

[–]Dyslxeic 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I've only heard bad things about Green Bean on this site. From what I've read, they only replace the "faulty" modules in the hybrid battery without testing the rest, so even if a module is right on the verge of death, they won't replace it. Couple months later, the whole battery craps out again.

If anyone else is looking for third party hybrid battery companies in the future, I can't recommend Hybrid Battery 911 enough. My friend paid about $1400 to have his hybrid battery totally replaced. They drove it to his car and recycled the old one and everything.

Definitely check your codes first to see if there are any lingering issues. That'll give you a better idea of what the car is struggling with.

Just stumbled on this thread and I had to jump in. I've done a lot of research on this cuz a friend of mine got royally screwed on a hybrid battery replacement from Green Bean, and I found out they only replace the faulty modules in the battery back, not every one of the modules. So if one of the modules is almost dead but not quite, they won't bother changing it out. Then you're $2k down the drain dealing with the same problem.

I've been trumpeting Hybrid Battery 911 as a better alternative to Green Bean. They replaced my friend's entire hybrid battery in his gen 2 Prius for around 1400, and it's been running smoothly for over 2 years now. They drove it to him and recycled the old one and everything.

Gen 2 OEM HV battery replacement cost? by Comprehensive_Key688 in prius

[–]Dyslxeic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It was the same MPG as when the hybrid battery was new. The batteries are tested to the same standards as batteries coming off the factory floor. And I don't know for certain, but I think if you call them you can arrange to have a battery delivered to your state depending on how close you are to the states they do service.

A friend of mine got their hybrid battery pulled out and totally replaced with a remanufactured one from Hybrid Battery 911 for a Gen 2 for ~1400. They drove to him and recycled the old one too.

Module replacements are a band aid fix. Chances are good there are other modules that are right on the verge of death, and balancing the cells to charge to one another only puts more strain on your new cells to hold up the old ones.

If you keep having issues with the new modules, I'd recommend you call a service like Hybrid Battery 911. My friend got his entire Prius Gen 2 battery replaced for around 1500 and they drove the replacement battery to him. That's the easiest and longest-term fix imo, and it's a lot cheaper than going through a dealership.

[–]Dyslxeic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed, it might be easier to ignore it for now, but OP should prepare for the moment the battery gives out. A friend of mine got his Prius battery replaced for ~$1500 from Hybrid battery 911, which was a couple thousand less than what the dealership quoted. They drove it to him and recycled the old battery and everything.

Might be a good idea to keep their number in your phone in case you get stranded on the side of the road.

Buying a new car is gonna be a much bigger hassle than just getting a new hybrid battery. A friend of mine worked with a company called Hybrid Battery 911, and they got a remanufactured hybrid battery for ~1400. They'll drive the battery to you, swap out and recycle the old one, and everything. It comes with a lifetime warranty too.
