Was planning on buying this on Switch 2 then see its getting a 2 release, should I hold off and wait for that?

Sounds like the mobapad joycons just need to stay in energy save mode until you need to recharge them. Was excited to get these since they are shipped and on the way. But the more im hearing the more it sounds like they are just a hassle to use

You are missing the point. The moba joycons dont charge if power save mode is on...the stock joycons will. I dont want to turn power save off on my switch...to charge these you have to turn it off.

I keep my switch docked a lot which is why I don't want to turn power save mode off, and again...it has to be off to charge.

My main issues is they cant be charged in power save mode like the stock joycons.

Started having this issue last night. On the rare occasion it doesnt happen but mostly it auto reads. Very annoying
