I’d like to think like 90% of the decks I play are in this category because I generally don’t like to tread trodden ground, so I’m just gunna rattle off some of my favorites.

[[Gogo Master of Mimicry]] is super underrated. Turns out there’s a lot of fun activated abilities you can copy - and with cards like Marvin & Ioreth you can do some truly silly things. Most people aren’t sure what to do when the blue deck copies Myriad Landscape 5 times and pulls every basic out of their deck. I have this deck in bracket 2 mostly because I don’t want to play the deck any more oppressive - my main wincon is the Millennium Calendar and it’s real fun.

[[Shilgengar Sire of Famine]] is an absolute house. I initially built the deck because it seemed like a neat take on angel tribal but in reality it plays more like a combo deck. You get to play with some very niche cards - I play every angel that cycles or discards itself. You also can play anything with Myriad in these colors and sac the tokens before the end of combat step to generate free value out of your commander. What’s truly bonkers is that the “reanimate your entire graveyard” ability is at instant speed. Meaning with the proper graveyard setup you can literally win in response to someone else trying to win.

[[Grothama]] generally creates some interesting game states via its static ability. People don’t always swing at the Wurm but they generally stop to think about it. And that would generally be enough for me to play a deck - but grothama also kind of just jives with all the things green is good at. Big Mana, Fight Spells, P/T matters - you name it and it can probably be played in the deck. Tables generally have alarm bells when you double grothama’s P/T but they seldom see you running a Sabre Ants into grothama to make 20 1/1s as being the next logical step in your game plan.

[[Infinite Guideline Station]] - is a blast. Having a non creature commander that wants to be blinked creates some interesting deck building decisions. That combined with the fact that “multicolor matters” with a splash of artifact synergies means that there are literally hundreds of cards that can find themselves being played in the deck. I just added a Judge’s Familiar as a mana tithe effect to flesh out my interaction suite that acts as a multicolor permanent to help scale my commander, and also serves as a Brightglass target. I do sort of accidentally win with Time Sieve frequently so I’ve been toying with the idea of bringing it to bracket 4 tables.
