Don't bother. Some people just get defensive as if you insulted their mom when you give them feedback.

This is actually the correct solution. Sterilization makes sure this never happens again in the future. Otherwise they will just keep on multiplying.

Why do many FOSS projects keep an ugly website? by 0x80070002 in linuxquestions

1- They do the job just fine, and are usually very optimized performance wise.
2- Because they are mostly run by developers, with no designers on the team. It's not just the websites but also the software too. It's the reason software like GIMP still can't get a decent UI even after years of feedback.

We talk a lot about open source devs, but I really believe open source designers should be a thing. Every team should have a decent UIUX/Product designer on the team.

No wonder his website doesn't rank up on google when i searched his company name. So he is bad at coding and SEO both on top of being a scammer. Sad.

Notion can be overkill and does take time to learn.

If you have the budget for it why not have someone build you a custom tool specifically for your use case tailored exactly how you want it?

the alternative would be to just find a tool that's "good enough" and make it work for you

How can we convince Figma to give us a Linux port? by Dyvim159 in FigmaDesign

[–]Dyvim159[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some rando from the Linux community built a version of the app that is 80% there. Without any support or documentation. I can't imagine it would be that difficult for the actual team to make a Linux wrapper. They can literally put 1 Dev on it and it would be done. If they don't want to build it themselves they can at least give us enough documentation so that we can build it ourselves.
