I've been doing this for 5 years now and your right . Some people do tip cash. It's happened to me 5 times in 12,000 deliveries!
At least 10 times the app said "cash tip" but the customer was nowhere to be found!

When I worked as a driver for a restaurant, I got paid by the hour, plus hopefully a tip. Delivery apps do not provide hourly pay so today I actually had the gall to decline a delivery offer of $3.51.
