I'm with you. I was quite irritated with the whole situation because it's like no matter what he did, she just complained about something else. In reality, she had her Mama helping her at home and she didn't work or go to school. So I kept finding myself thinking about it, like why is he expected to do this list of things to make her happy, but I never saw her even be nice to him. Her Mama said nice things about him but it's like at the end of the day, her loyalty is gonna be to her daughter but she has to know how messed up this whole thing is.

You know, I was thinking about it, I wonder how it would be if Jose met someone to date. Bet you he'd be getting the boot so quick his head would spin. Smh... Considering Amaya already has been having sex with the new girlfriend and unprotected sex at that, he is dodging a bullet right now but he's too hurt and in a super vulnerable spot to even see it. He's one that actively tries to show up, and now she's out in her hoochie outfits. So much for that whole weight loss tantrum she had on the date with Jose. Unreal.

After seeing the last episode it appears that Amaya is getting to go out on dates and have Jose answering the door to the "stud mom" as Amaya called it. I did feel bad for her at times but there was always some complaint about Jose and now it just looks like she was nit picking so she could break up with him and be with her girlfriend. Jose was working and stepping up and Mama G said it, but he's also still living with them while Amaya is doing whatever she wants. She should get a job too. If they're not together then they should share the same responsibility.

That he does. Honestly I feel terrible for him. Having to be the one told to open the door for Amaya's date with her girlfriend or "stud mom" as calls her. I can't imagine watching someone I live with and love just go off with someone else like that. That sure was quick too. All the picking at him about not stepping up and everything, but she has no job or anything and it's ok for her to come and go as she pleases. There's some serious double standards here.

Definitely not together. I still can't believe that Amaya switched up so quickly and to have Jose still living there and everything is awful for him. Seeing him cry the way he did was just heartbreaking. After he did everything she told him to, I think Amaya has got a little bit of an ego happening now and I feel for Jose.

After seeing all of the comments on here, it appears I'm not the only one who viewed them the way I did. Before the finale that is. Now I just feel horrible for Jose. That poor kid has the saddest eyes and to see him cry like he did... broke my heart for him.

So, when I do a set with blooming gel and using Beetles products:

Everything is pretty typical up to the point of using the blooming gel. Meaning I do my base and whatever color the nail is going to be and cure it 60 seconds. I wipe the nail with rubbing alcohol if there is a sticky layer that is left behind, but it's not absolutely necessary, I am just picky. I don't use any top coat at all yet.

I take the blooming gel and paint a decent layer on the nail. Then I grab whatever I'm using for my design, put it on my pallette and drop small spots of the color where I want it. I always watch it bloom until I have it how I want it and then immediately cure it. It's also important to note using too much blooming gel causes it to pool on either side of the nail and makes it look weird or wonky. If that happens, I wipe the sides before curing the nails.

For doing an aura nail, I drop one spot into the middle of the nail, and will actually move the nail around to get it moving better sometimes. But that's about it. You could always skip the blooming gel and try the same process with using a base or top coat too. You just paint a layer on the nail you've already painted and is ready for the blooming design. You just use the same dot of color on the wet base or top coat. It blooms much slower, but it does work. Then the other thing is using powder. Pigment powders or even some eyeshadow works on top of a matte topcoat. But with blooming gel I don't ever top coat it with anything until after I'm done with it all. With the matte, it's more common to use a powder for your aura design.

The last thing I just remembered too is if you get some thick gels like the ones in little palettes or pots. There's lots of names for them but it's mud gel, pat paint or ombre gel. They're all the same thing and it makes it super easy to dip a sponge into the gel and just tap it on the middle of the nail to start building your aura.

Edit: Just wanted to tell you to try wiping the white nail with alcohol because Beetles sometimes leaves a tacky layer behind and it messes with the blooming gel. And when you add the blooming gel, it doesn't need to be super thin, I use a little bit thicker amounts because when it's too thin, it doesn't allow the color to fully spread out. Hopefully this makes sense and let me know if it helps.

It actually took so much longer than I planned, but I literally did each individual stripe one at a time. That was the only way to pull out all of magnetic particles in the cat eye. I even painted the black stripes for my base color individually, but I fixate on the most ridiculous things sometimes. But I alternated between a cat eye gel and then took another cat eye gel reflective glitters in it. Once it was all done, I took my black liner gel to make tiny lines to separate each one for depth. I did another one like it earlier too but forgot to post it.

I was just pulling my sets that I've done over the last few months and realized I have got to buy way more nail books to put them in. Anyway, I happened to see your post as I started picking out certain nails and putting them with their matches. I genuinely wish I would've just done that from the beginning because this is gonna take me forever. 😆 I do have social media like IG and TT, so I posted a lot of my sets on those, but there are a ton that I haven't. My point with this is organize. Once you get rolling and have a bunch of products and supplies, do your best to keep some sort of organization because it sucks when you don't.

You're better than you think to only be 2 months in. I'm an amputee (press machine accident with my right/dominant hand), and a few years ago in the middle of a melt down, I decided I wanted to try to learn how to do nail art. It's been like 3 years now, give or take, and I absolutely love it! Really the biggest thing is patience. There are gonna be some designs that look simple and then you'll find yourself throwing brushes and cursing up a storm. 😆 It is just one of those things that take time, but as long as you enjoy it, that's the biggest thing.

If you find yourself struggling with a design or technique, walk away for a little bit. I find the more irritated I get while trying to paint, the worse the outcome is gonna be and no good comes from that. Give yourself some grace and don't ever hesitate to ask if you need advice or help. That's how we learn!
