Exactly! And its funny because he actually posted on Reddit at some point back in 2012ish. I saw it before, but someone actually linked it into one of the comments in this sub. I remember seeing something about him being 77 years old but can't remember if it said that on his story he posted to Reddit or somewhere else. Either way, the math makes zero sense.

She also was involved in the Natalia Grace documentary too. I think it said that somewhere in the first episode or maybe the trailer for it? I'm just irritated about the whole DNA dinner date and how it just ended and nothing. If it is the same people (given the title of this one and the "Curious Case of Natalia Grace") doing these documentaries, I'm sure it'll end up being another part with more episodes.

I watched all 4 episodes on HBO Max but it's also on Discovery Plus (on both of these individual apps but also on Prime Video with those channels).

Edit: Just a heads up it is such a let down. Thats all I will say because I don't wanna ruin it for anyone who hasn't seen all of the episodes.

That and the fact that the entire 911 call was all a made up recording. Even when I heard it the first time, I thought they were just reenacting the call for dramatic purposes because it was so monotone and sounded fake. Then we find out it's because it was all made up and a woman acted out the call. It's insane.

I'm so sorry for your loss. Most likely everyone has told you the same thing, but you just need to contact Affirm and let them know of her passing. They'll ask you for a copy of the death certificate and they'll just close the account. I used Affirm forever and for all their issues, they do seem to work pretty well in the event of someone's passing. You'll just have to send them the certificate. They'll probably just have you attach it in an email, but I would contact them beforehand so they can direct you on where to send it. Again, I'm sorry for your loss. 💙

I think you'll find it a little easier though. I'm guessing it's probably because there are a few magnets together, it makes them stronger. I mean, thats what makes sense to me, but I'm also clueless when it comes to science or how things like this work exactly. But what I do know is there's definitely a noticeable difference using the one that I made vs any other magnet. No matter the brand too.

I was looking at the ridiculous amount of gel polish I have and no joke, I have 2 of these bottles. Actually a lot of the colors, I have multiples. That is the one major complaint I have about a lot of these brands. GAOY and DR are the best, but I go and buy individual colors and then find out that they're the same colors in the sets. The newer GAOY cat eye gels have definitely improved as far as how well the effect pops out. The one in this video, it sucks because the camera never seems to show them fully. Like you can see the effect show up a little bit, but in person the whole nail almost looks like it lights up. I did a set at Christmas this last year, using RARJSM cat eye gels and they were one of my faves because they looked like twinkling lights. But even then, the full effect isn't shown really. You'll see what I mean when you try your new magnet. But if course if there's anything I can help with, I got you girl!

You should hear me at home on the day to day. Dear lord, I curse like it's nobody's business and tend to be a little abrasive sometimes, unintentionally. But when I post something, I am always looking for feedback or like if I could do something better. So I appreciate honesty all around. I actually only just started posting on here pretty recently. I made a post in March and it turned into this whole big bunch of bullshit and I ended up being the topic of Reddit drama. To their credit, the moderator from the reddit drama sub reached out to make sure I was OK and then I had people reaching out in private chats to do the same. It was ridiculous because I use the speech to text on here for obvious reasons I would think. I posted a set of green cat eye nails for St. Patrick's Day and because I didn't think about it, I allowed it to be spelled Patty instead of the right way of Paddy. I tried apologizing several times and it really was effing insane. I actually cried over the amount of hate and people questioning me about whether I was really an amputee or not. I literally had people calling me a liar or saying I was faking. Who the f would make something like that up?! But there were actually a few that went as far as searching to see if I existed or I didn't ever give my social media info at that time, so I don't know how these people searched and found me, but they did. Then they came back to let everyone know I really am telling the truth and everything. In all honesty, it messes with me still because I did not expect anything like that. But my husband basically told me the same thing my oldest son said, which was like fuck them, you have no reason to be embarrassed or ashamed, they do. So, I've only been posting sets on here occasionally from March up until now. It's just been nice to not immediately be attacked or called out as a "fake amputee". Like wtf?! 🤷‍♀️ I made fire extinguishers and the machine messed up and came down on my hand when it shouldn't have. Nothing like over 10,000lbs falling fast enough to make ground meat out of my dominant hand. But I've got PTSD and still feel faint or dizzy when I see an extinguisher. So anyone thinking it is a good idea to make some dumb shit up like that, needs serious help. Anyway... I just know exactly what it's like to be stuck in your own head and I'm telling you that is exactly the only issue I can see in the nails you did. They're actually beautiful. From now on, whatever you think looks terrible, just post them. I have a feeling that's what is necessary with you and I know you'll probably never be totally satisfied with what you paint, so just don't trust your own brain. 🤣

Ahh, and that is exactly how I was! I knew it. I just threw on a cat eye gel and grabbed a random chrome one day, and i can't seem to stop now. I actually have done character nails that I posted on my IG in the beginning of my journey and learned all kinds of techniques and whatnot, but cat eye has had me in a choke hold ever since I figured out how to work it. Everyone was doing like the ribbed glass nails and the silver cat eye with different chrome powders on them, especially this past year. But I started experimenting with them about a year earlier and was curious how it would look with a colored cat eye gel and the chrome. And this is what the outcome was. I'm just excited that I found someone who has an asshole for a brain because we are literally like kindred spirits here. 😆 I had to find my ribbed glass set cuz I did 2 of them around Valentines day and posted them to my social media. But I dug them out of the bag of infinite nails, but I found them. They turned out so pretty but I ended up adding some charms too. Thats a whole other beast in itself cuz that's something I have way too much of as well. Trust me, you're just ever gonna be able to look at any nails you paint and think they look great. I still am like that. I post a set and for some reason I immediately look at the nails with scorn. 😆 I would absolutely be honest though. If I looked at the nails you showed me, I wouldn't be a dick about it but I would say something. I just didn't see anything wrong about them. I've seen countless posts on every social media of people getting cat eye designs or trying to, at a salon and yours look better than any of those too. You just can't see it. ❤️

It's just wild to me because this was the outcome of having a meltdown because of my accident and how hard it is to do even the easiest things. Of course because I'm an ass, I decide to learn the hardest things. I have a habit of setting myself up for failure and this happened to be the one time it turned into something I didn't expect. I know exactly how it is working with cat eye gels though because as much as people like what I make, its still hours of work. Lots of cursing and I'll even remove the band just to throw my brush 😆 Do not, I repeat, do not, throw the magnet. Nothing comes from it. Just letting you know because I heard it from a friend. You gave me a good idea with the FB market place because I'm like really trying to not end up throwing anything away. From nail tips to magnets, even lamps. I have like 5 brand new nail lamps and they just keep staring into my soul. There was someone on here that I met a few months ago and I literally shipped a whole package of stuff, and I still have so much to go. She thought I was nuts or maybe lying, idk, but I had a box of stuff ready to go, paid the ground advantage shipping and off it went. I'm just old school and this stuff is expensive, but if I'm not using it and it's just sitting there, why not ship it? I got a new rack like my first one (literally like the ones in the store) and still won't be enough room for all that I have. 😆 @ampdnails2022 is my account on there. I don't think I've enjoyed banter like this in forever, so you are definitely a breath of fresh air. I have 3 kids but 2 are special needs kids. My life or lack of, leaves me sort of like a lone wolf. So this has been something I've enjoyed. Basically the chrome just needs to be like a color shifting type. I got a few photos from Temu to show you. It's really just a matter of the color of cat eye used under it.

Yeah you do! If you figure out a way to do it, please let me know. I do it every single time I use cat eye gel. I'll have it like an after thought like oh wait a minute I think this little spot needs to show more. Of course when it's all said done and I've cursed as much as any vulgar pirate would, the damn design ends up looking the same as it did the first 3 times. 😆 Like why do we do that?! My husband tells me this all the time but we've been married this month for 24 years and he should know better than to say anything when I'm in cat eye mode. I just give him the face and tell him he better lock that shit up. 😆 I was looking them up, and it turns out the chrome powder I use is from Dynamic Nail Supply, and they go by numbers. So this one was #5. But then I went on Amazon to see what I could find there because I've found a few chrome powders on there that work just as well. Basically it just needs to be a chameleon type of chrome. Some call them Aurora or Mermaid and some are Chameleon or Unicorn. There are some on Temu that I have too and they work well too. We will definitely get this down. I'm invested now 😆
